I live in North Florida and the rains can be quite strange. Rain from a blue sky isn't all that rare. A cloudburst 50 yards away with none on me.
Just a lot of sort of unusual conditions that mix clear sky, heavy rain / no rain and blue sky.

Couple of weeks ago we were having one of those blue sky rain events. I parked in the driveway and walked to my front door and noticed a rainbow. Strange thing was that both ends touch down in my front yard. It was about 12 - 15 foot tall and again both ends touched down in my yard about 50 foot across. 3 days later the same thing happened again in about the same spot. Same height and length. Amazing to this old man!

Sorry, no pot of gold at either end :)

There's a pot at the end of the rainbow, but... well...

Alternatively, and on a more upbeat note:

NOTE: This song was made WAY before the lgbtqrstuv stole the rainbow, back when it was seen as the beautiful gift from God. I probably couldn't even get away with singing this song in a church these days. >.>

I am also from Florida, so I understand the rain, but I have never had a both ends of a rainbow, maybe the pot of gold was your home.

What? No picture? ;) What a sight to behold. You were truly blessed.
Me, I'd be digging where each end of the rainbow touched down in my yard.
One of those, you never know what the former owners stashed away and forgot, type things.

They stole the rainbow to mock the entire message of God in the flood story. Sin being the reason for the flood. The rainbow flag/banner, is a sign they resist that story because they are not sinners.
Me, I'm the political type.
I have two stickers on my car. One exhorts Christians to take back the rainbow. The second one right beneath it says, the gay pride march stops at the gates of hell.
So far so good on the windshield staying in one piece.

Problem is, with rainbows being refracted light, as you move the rainbow moves from your perspective. So you wind up chasing it across town until the rain stops and it vanishes.

Ask me how I know that. :p

this kind of 'happening' is really very RARE, to say the least, for so many of us
just Love the beauty and significance of such an un-usual/but Biblical occurance/sign
when we see this throughout our lives -
for us, hub and myself, it has always had a Spiritual meaning, akin to The Covenant'...
cool?. we would say that this was a 'sizzling' event...

TWICE???
oh yeah, we would for sure be 'jumping for joy'...
:):)
