i love thrift stores.. i got a pair of Crocs sandals in one for $4.. i still have them too..comfortable to walk in, NOT comfortable to stand around in.. :(
Lady Blue, I love it when you find designer clothing with the retail tag still attached. A few years ago I found a brand new pair of Doc Marten boots for less than $10! And I wear them a lot. :D

I am not too fond of the regular vanilla ice cream. I actually prefer the french vanilla, at least for me the vanilla flavor is a bit stronger.

I'm thankful for this song. I have saved it to my music folder.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eu3SdvNmBQY

It has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. I don't even know what the words are except for "It's a Set Up."

Why is a guy my age listening to this kind of music? Well, this is what happens when your retired and have a homeschooled teenager who plays Grand Theft Auto on the X-Box. I've even saved this song to my music folder, along with the song "Sleepwalking" that automatically will follow it. It's good too...I guess.

I just realized what follows a song is shuffled so here is "Sleepwalker" by The Chain Gang of 1974, if anyone is interested.

These type of songs seem to be good for background music while I'm on the computer.

I'm grateful for the power of prayers....I had two friends who were hospitalized this week for cardiac issues and one is slowly recovering at the hospital, the other was released today.

I'm grateful the ability to go back through my email and find old bible thoughts I have written in the past to people so I can revisit those thought for myself :)

I am grateful that God chose me, especially when I truly didn't deserve it.. I an grateful that though I have come through some really rough and rocky times that it's been smooth in comparison for some time now and that He has been my ROCK and My hiding place for the past 7 years steadily without my waivering... (notice I said MY) :)

I am grateful that though it's hard and has long hours, I have a job. I am grateful that He has given me His spirit so that I could be kind. I am grateful that He has given me a voice to sing to Him with and soothe myself and others. I am grateful that He has put people into my life that are wise and wonderful. I am grateful for my beautiful grandchildren.
I am grateful to be young at heart :)

I am grateful that I am who I am no matter what made me that way... because God was always there.. I am grateful to be me, working on being like Him :) I am grateful that it's GOD's power and not my own because I'd fail...
I am grateful for dark chocolate, and baby's laughter, kisses and hugs, gentle touches and grown men's tears , mountains and the ocean, candlelight, praise music and eyes that can see, ears that can hear and a heart that can love.. :) I am grateful that I can ask for wisdom from above and God gives it :) I am grateful that people ask my spiritual advise and and grateful when I have some that really sounds wise :) so I am grateful for His Holy Spirit :)

It is amazing... wow, that thought was in my head? That verse was on my mind way back when? That nugget I shared, and now its being brought back to me with a little more perspective then I had back in the day, so it means just that much more. And of course then, I can make use of things again when the time is right for someone else. :)

The Holy Spirit is amazing. Yes! :)

I'm grateful for a salvage grocery. I don't go there to save money, I go there to find neat stuff I would never find in the normal grocery stores.

My family. I got to feel my little nephew kick for the first time today. It was a sweet moment to share with my little sister.
