okay... so, i have been thinking.. a lot, and if you know me, thats not usually a really good thing, because i tend to ever think things lol... but.. i do it anyways.

a lot of the questions consist of the simple 3 letter word.. Why

like, Why am i here? Why did he do that? Why am i like this? why does everything have to be so difficult? Why do people think that unless your 25 and have a job, your immature?... just.. WHY

i really think people underestimate me. i think a lot of people think, that just because i'm 15.. i don't know anything, and all i am, is some teenager looking for a way to spend my weekend or a few hours during the day. A lot of people say, that i like to bragg, or that i like to quote on quote," rub it in people faces"

yeah, well, i'm writing this to say that everyone who thinks that.. is WRONG! i don't "rub it in", i'm not one to make fun of someone else, i don't want to underestimated, nothing is about me, i don't want it to be... it's about God, and i don't care if you want to go against that, or say that i'm wrong, i'm not going to fight with you.. =)

ANYWAYS.... does anyone have any why questions...?

like...... i play 27 instruments.. and when i say that... which is barely ever.... people say that i'm rubbing it in their faces. or bragging.. but.. i'm not. a lot of the times, it's when people ask me how many i play. and God gave me those talents, and those people has SOOOOOOO many more that i don't.. they should be great full

that totally doesn't make any sense..

Strap yourself in for a long life, you'll always encounter people that see an implication of superiority in what you say that was never there.

I had to put up with the same kind of thing when I was younger and occasionly I still do, I'd innocently mention something and people would accuse me of boasting or hassling them when I was just trying to make conversation or answer a question.

I don't know why they reacted that way, I try to be self-aware and consider how I come across to other people and try not to behave in ways that might rub them the wrong way, but in the end you have to accept that it's their problem not yours and go on just being yourself and hopefully as you get older people will learn to accept that you don't mean what they think you mean.

Shawna, you're AWESOME. Don't worry about what other people think. A lot of older people often stereotype. You have more wisdom and talent at 15 than many many older people do. Honestly! Stereotyping is just something thats in the world. Not everyone does it but it is there nonetheless. One challenge to being young is to win the respect of older people, and you sometimes can't blame older folks for stereotyping if they've seen some younger people who have been disrespectful to them. It just goes with the territory.

Psalm 37 says "trust in the Lord and do good. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn. Dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Do not fret for it only leads to evil."

It is true that fretting leads to evil. We have to forgive and accept. Fretting exacerbates negative feelings toward others, so don't fret about those who have stereotyped you. Forgive and accept and know that God will make your goodness known to them in one way or another.

See i get this alot to. I can play the tuba and the triangle at the same time. Alot of people are jealous and wont talk to me when they find out what i can do. Its hard being talented, but i can say its taken alot of practice to get down how to alternate holding the tuba and the triangle, everyone said, you'll never be able to do it.. so what ive did is ive constructed an aparatus that hangs off my eyelids, and it suspends the triangle in mid air, so all i have to do is hold the thingy that makes the DING sound when you hit the triangle. Im living proof that dreams do come true.

Yes and from the looks of it, your eye lids are big enough to suspend instruments off of them as well.

Hmm sounds like someone is jealous of you. They should be because Shawna you are just that awesome! You are a very rare teenage girl and I am proud of you for being who you are.

1 Timothy 4:12 - "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Love you, sis!
