He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
(Psalm 147:4)

He calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
(John 10:3)

Jesus saith unto her, Mary.
She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

And his feet like unto fine brass,
as if they burned in a furnace;
and his voice as the sound of many waters.

2 Corinthians 11

[SUP]4 [/SUP]For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Psalms 33:1) Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 .) Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 .) Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 .) For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 .) He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
6 .) By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 .) He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 .) Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 .) For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalm 38:
1O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger,nor discipline me in your wrath!
2For your arrows have sunk into me,
and your hand has come down on me.

3There is no soundness in my flesh
because of your indignation;

there is no health in my bones
because of my sin.
4For my iniquities have gone over my head;
like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.

5My wounds stink and fester

because of my foolishness,
6I am utterly bowed down and prostrate;

all the day I go about mourning.
7For my sides are filled with burning,
and there is no soundness in my flesh.

8I am feeble and crushed;
I groan because of the tumult of my heart.

9O Lord, all my longing is before you;

my sighing is not hidden from you.
10My heart throbs; my strength fails me,
and the light of my eyes—it also has gone from me.
11My friends and companions stand aloof from my plague,

and my nearest kin stand far off.

[SUP]Mark 13
[/SUP]
[SUP]32 [/SUP]But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

[SUP]34 [/SUP]For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

[SUP]36 [/SUP]Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Luke 18
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: [SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. [SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

I didn’t think it was a good idea to know anything among you
except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

[h=1]Isaiah 53 Au[/h] Who hath believed our report?
and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of a dry ground:
he hath no form nor comeliness;
and when we shall see him,
there is no beauty that we should desire him.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way;
and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
yet he opened not his mouth:
he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so he openeth not his mouth.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He was taken from prison and from judgment:
and who shall declare his generation?
for he was cut off out of the land of the living:
for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he made his grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death;
because he had done no violence,
neither was any deceit in his mouth.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him;
he hath put him to grief:
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin,
he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days,
and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:
by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many;
for he shall bear their iniquities.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great,
and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because he hath poured out his soul unto death:
and he was numbered with the transgressors;
and he bare the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

well, given the time I've spent debating the issue this morning, :)

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
