I've been feeling pretty down lately since I lost my best friend recently. No I'm not a kid, but a woman in my 30's.

Today Google photos decided to make a video of the pictures in my photos (mainly my kid) with a song in the background. At first I was annoyed, but then I looked and thought wow we had a really amazing couple of years!

Suddenly the things that bothered me in the moment (feeling ugly in the photos, having a messy house, not having it arranged how I wanted, the tantrum beforehand) meant nothing to me. In fact every picture was beautiful, cozy, happy, nostalgic.

It made me question my current perception and find my gratitude. Maybe not everyone has a bunch of photos that make them instantly happy around. But if not, then maybe it's time to find your vision and gratitude as well. If you post on social media instead of thinking about how many people liked the photo, post the photos you want to remember forever. The images that spark joy.

Then with your joy approach the creator in prayer. God bless.

We should be willing to happily accept less than ideal circumstances in pursuit of God's glory.

Hello Runningman, I agree! Further, we should always find a way to be thankful for them (less than ideal circumstances, that is), knowing Who it is who loves us and always wants the very best for us, as His adopted children. For instance:

Genesis 50
19 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place?
20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive."
Romans 8
28 We know that God causes ~all~ things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

God bless you!
