I don't know where I fit in the Christian community. I'm not going to get into what I feel about certain hot topics but I know it's a lot different than a lot of other Christians. I don't like reading , you're not a real Christian, said to anyone. It's really rude.

I have a relationship with God and I know he knows what's in my heart. I like and enjoy many people on CC heat I'm not sure what to make of some comments I read.

I don't know where I fit in either. I know that God loves me and that He loves you too. Perhaps that is sufficient.

It's common for us to feel confused, or alienated, or uncertain, or lacking answers...
but that does not mean there are no answers.

If we study the scripture, we usually find answers.

Answers to what?

Whatever we're missing.

Dunno, but what i do know is you fit in with God.. being in a group with people is cool and everything, but being with Christ is most important.

I tend to think it's actually a positive thing if a person doesn't have a clique or small/ large group of members that they identify solely with on a forum or any group. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have close friendships with others that share similar views or beliefs, but I've noticed that it happens quite regularly that "sides" form in the various theological discussions and members on both sides of the debate treat the discussion like a battlefield. At times, I can see that someone wants to like a point or agree with a post, but they can't because that person has been arguing for the other side. I think grudges get carried over from thread to thread and members end up arguing in some threads for no real reason and drag previous disagreements into relatively peaceful threads. This just seems silly to me. I also agree that there is no need to attack others or critique their Christianity when discussing issues.

You are part of the body of Christ that's all that truly matters. God will reveal your specific calling as long as you continue to seek him.

There is one place where you fit in. Its where you are accepted, special and needed. That sister is in the Body of Christ. No matter how much denominations and communities go against you. There is one that doesnt. The true Body of Christ

Lucky for us all that Christ meets us where we are. And He likens the body of Christians into different parts. Some are arms, some legs, some eyes, some mouths, etc.

Whatever you are, there is no one like you and you have an important part to play in the expression of Christ to others we are all called upon to minister.

I see you as something like a Mom figure. You share Momlike wisdom, but don't put up with nonsense. And, I treat you like that. Ain't no way I'm going to get snippy with Mom, because she knows how to put me in my place without physically hurting me.

(Strange, huh? Considering our ages. But it works that way for me. lol)

On Mom's side of the family, (my real mom, not Fenner lol), the family was set up like a full-blown society with one person selected (even if he/she didn't want the job) to mange disputes, arbitrate when needed, and remind us we are family when we stopped wanting to be. Not every problem was dealt with. Just the ones that affected the whole family by causing division. Until Gram died, that was her job. After she died, her son -- my uncle -- held the mantle. He was the patriarch. (He still is, but now we're in our 50's and 60's, so less of the nonsense as when we were young.)

You're my uncle!

You remind me of that same uncle, but in a different way. Every time he opened his mouth, we never knew if he was going to make us laugh, think, or both.

We’ve been told not to insult each other (Matt 5:22). It might hurt when someone says we are not Christian, but I’d rather be in our shoes than their shoes.

You have to investigate the comments to see if they are true or false... That's what is really important when it comes to beliefs about Jesus... Things might sound nice and other statements may sound mean but in the end what matters is if they are true or false..

The comments aren't directed towards me per say but someone who might express their feelings about something that some Christians frown upon. I am not exactly a liberal person but I don't fit into the mold of what a lot of people think a Christian should be or how they should feel about things.

In younger years the way religion was taught (in religious education) don't question anything. I mean as far as what you were taught . I don't do well with that. I got in trouble in Catholic religious education and when I went to this Baptist church with my Mom.

I try to reach out to those who have been rejected by the Christian community because I was there. In the Catholic religion I was made to feel like a girl who had no clue, I didn't have a clue actually. In the Baptist church I was made to feel like a whore who wasn't worthy of God because I did question thing's and probably because the Pastors Son liked me and I wasn't the glowing angelic piece of perfection they wanted for their son.

I just read read something on here the other day that made my stomach turn. This person doesn't fit the cookie cutter mold most people think should exist to know God and I was afraid to publicly reach out to that person and I'm ashamed of that.
