A Scepter Of Uprightness,

The songs of some of the psalmists have a really
deep root in their understanding of God. They are
unwavering in their support in their love for God.
It seems like they first want to tear themselves down
then bring themselves back up. In other words some
believe that God is being mean to them, they implore
Him to make their lives get better and instead they
become worse. But with perseverance they feel God
is on their side and has lifted them up higher. Of
course God has always been the same but their faith
in Him was different. Even in this day, it seems we
have to hit rock bottom before we really grasp God's
message of love and eternity. The closer our journey
of the Spirit gets to Him, the more faithful and strong

we become.
