So my dad and I are looking online to try and find ways to change his diet to help destroy his cancer. He's on chemo, but a big part of it is trying to "starve the tumor" the best way possible and keep him healthy at the same time.

Anyone have any suggestions as far as books, recipe sites, ect? I know there's a lot of differing opinions and stuff, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what to look for.

Thank you!

No I hadn't, but I'll be sure to take a look :D

So far we've found some stuff on the healing gourmet website, and just ordered a couple of editions of the Cancer Fighting Kichen

I've heard juicing veggies and things is amazing. I knew a lady who couldn't get immediate treatment for her breast cancer and her lump actually ended up disappearing for several years due to all the juicing she did! I'm sorry I don't know where there is info on that kind of stuff, but maybe try googling it?

Yup, googling while we speak, both me and my dad. Yeah he doesn't enjoy the juicing, so we have to try and get something he can actually eat, or something that he can incorporate into other things. That may be that he just uses the juice for other things, or adds it to things, but for now we're looking for extra nutrition in everything he eats. EVERYTHING.

Here's a list from webmd

Choose whole grain breads and cereals.

Drink 100% fruit or vegetable juices. (Make sure they are pasteurized because you may be more susceptible to germs while you’re getting cancer treatment.)Fill half of your plate with vegetables and fruits.

A few times a week, choose meatless meals such as vegetarian lasagna or vegetable stir-fry.

Have a leafy green salad with dinner unless you have been told to avoid raw foods.

Limit sugary foods -- the kind with lots of calories but very little nutrition.

Pick lean meats and fish over fatty red meat and processed meats.

My sister is now cancer free; she was told no processed meats (deli meats
have carcinogens in them) plus eliminate as much processed food as possible.
One of the hardest things for her to give up was cheese whiz
:)

Has he had chemo or radiation? How long has he had it for? Has it metastasized? How old is he? What does his diet and lifestylke currently look like? His general health otherwise?

Made has stomach cancer, chemo but no radiation, every 2 weeks.

he has no issues with blood pressure, diabetes, liver or kidney deficiency, or heart plaque. He was completely healthy, which is what threw us for a loop so hard. It's also been what's helped him bounce back after each chemo.

I'm a cancer survivor and I would recommend no chemo. It is a choice for everyone but from what I've learned chemo isn't good at all.

I didn't do chemo or rads either. Why pump yourself full of things that make you sicker, in order to MAYBE make yourself better with no real guarantee that it'll even work?

Oh no! Here we go.

Warning! some is harmful, that's a shark's fin up out of the water.

There's a pot that's about to boil over.

Don't say I didn't warn you all.

I'm outta here.

Land! I see land.

There is a ton of info on natural healing. What I did is researched all the main ones that kept coming up. I then found out what was similar with all of them. After that I started eating right and detoxing my body. You don't need to spend a ton of money with natural healing.

Many types of cancer are actually a fungal infection.

cancerfungus.com
knowthecause.com

Book: "The Germ That Causes Cancer" by Doug Kaufmann available from knowthecause.com

There is a great deal more supporting this claim, but this is enough to get started in the research.
