D. Stands for Vitamin D Deficiency.
Most folks in institutions, long term care like nursing homes are grossly deficient in vitamin D. The only time they are outside, they are placed in the shade under a porch roof. They are usually covered up so much they get little to no benefits from the sunshine. The nurses and food services provide no dietary D3. Therefore, they are all depressed, especially non summer months when they are cooped in their building like a cave. When they are upset from discomfort and loneliness, it is no wonder if they would say they want to die when suggested by a physician. Instead of providing low cost nutrients, he offers the hospice "comfort care solution." That is what the damned medical industry calls Compassion. They are damned because the hell bound leaders of the industry have convinced the general public that their definition of "compassion and comfort care" is the same ones that family members think of when they use them. This is why I am not hard on them. It is certain medical staff, media and government policy makers who have invested billions of tax $ to push their campaigns. We are not likely going to convince some, but please do everything you can to teach your own family. It takes a lot of honest information and biblical ethics to undo the years of scientific programming those institutions have done to our people.
Who does not know that the medical establishment is not in the business of propping up the
alternative health industry, while being in the pockets of big pharma? How difficult would it be for
anyone to provide their own institutionalized aging parents with vitamin D? Who put the parents there?

I know what you mean. I've recommended that for many years when speaking to those children and the disabled.

In my limited experiences we've learned that you have to just do it without asking permission. Staff from the dietitians to the Drs are dismissive, reluctant and more often than not to deny residents vitamin/ mineral supplements. Family has to put the parents first, do their own homework and disregard the intimidation of the caretakers denial of the D3 or whatever supplements. Ideally, the caregivers would help provide those with meals at the request of the residents and their children. I'm sure many nurses do in other areas and perhaps yours. In my area, it's like sneaking contraband past the guards. Just to provide fresh ginger root for tea to calm an upset stomach has to get approval from the physicians.

PS: Sorry I had another thought that ties the long previous post together.

We are not likely going to convince some, but please do everything you can to teach your own family.
You know true compassion as do others in this thread. It's our job to do what we can to help these folks we love to see the difference..
It takes a lot of honest information and biblical ethics to undo the years of scientific programming those institutions have done to our people.
Those institutions twist the truth for the love of money.
We share the love of the truth for the sakes of our Christian family.
The United Kingdom is presently going the process of passing an assisted suicide bill, it is at its third reading, there appears to be some resistance.

Dr. Calum Miller on X (UK) cites the statistics:

Oregon has followed the crazy regimes of Belgium, Netherlands and Canada in massively increasing suicide rates over time. Assisted suicides in the first year of legalisation were 27. By 2023, this was 367, an over 13-fold increase. This isn't just fulfilling an already-existing demand. This is normalising and therefore contagiously spreading suicide. Suicide rates rose from 13.9 per 100,000 in 1999 to 19.3 in 2022. Research shows that when assisted suicide is legalised, more general suicide rates increase

The large majority of patients barely know the physician prescribing the drugs, and some do not know the physician at all. Some patients took days to die after ingesting the drugs, and for 1/3 of patients this data is not even collected. Oregon has also recently become a destination for suicide tourism - the same could easily happen in the UK.

Gotta love the Orwellian language "right to die" 'dying with dignity" I bet there is no shadowy dark money behind it all, it is all about compassion. :cautious::rolleyes:

The bill in the UK will get expanded as it did in Canada, the bill is evil, but to be so gullible to think doctors consistently act ethically and morally who are being paid to put people to death is laughable.

More death more money much like abortion.

I think this about sums it up. maid.JPG

I think most American Drs do plenty of unethical actions for their love of money. They have already killed lots of people on purpose for their love of money as we saw the last few years.

That doesn't mean that I should take away from the poor suffering patients who are eventually made hypersensitive to pain when prescribed pain killers are pushed for long term. Severe traumas and injuries can cause suicidal pain in many.
I wish to keep them in the view of sincere compassion. I knew many who suffered intense unbearable pain and understand their concerns about this issue. Likewise, I have to stop and consider the fact that there are members who have had such experiences. I am probably the most opinionated on this subject having my background, ministering to hospice patients and having seen family killed by MDs.

I also want to hear from smart people who have Biblical ethics, and come from a different background who disagree.

On the legislative side, the politicians, whom I never trust, place too much power in the hands of unethical people and hospitals to promote a "procedure" that gives them yet another conflict of interest.
Their primary interest are those profits made. There is no limit to the evils committed every day in our local hospitals. They have pushed more veterans to die from suicidal depression, with their harmful psychiatric drug treatments than there were in wars in my lifetime.
Those Drs are the ones that suffering people are told to trust in their most desperate time of life.

What we all need in times like those is good nutrition, love, encouragement and much compassion. I am so grateful for those Christian brothers and Christian sisters who have helped me in these ways or we would likely not be having this conversation.
They showed me much mercy and true compassion.
