You cannot lose your salvation.
Once you have accepted Jesus as your Savior you are Gods Child.
Even if you wander away from Him you are still His and as the father took back his prodigal son with open arms, God The Father will take you back.
It's not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His Mercy He saved us.
Isn't that awesome?
We will make mistakes and it doesn't matter how much we do for Him He still loves us as His Child.

The bible promises salvation to people who have a living relationship with Christ.
Why would anyone desire to leave Christ and believe He rejects them when they have
had some contact with Him?

The world can be very enticing.
If you remember when Jesus was tempted, Satan used all Jesus weaknesses to entice Him.
Of course Jesus being God overcame those temptations but He was also in human flesh.
I believe satan will use weakness to attract us to fall away from Christ.

Please pray for me because satan is reminding of rejection and hoplessness.
Depression is a constant battle.
My flesh is looking for an outlet like starting up smoking.

Hi...Do not forget we are given a full armor suit to wear and we must alway`s wear it to protect ourselves from the eil one...God will work through you and work things out of you...Make some time alone with God, get yourself comfortable with a nice hot drink, have a pen and paper handy and open up your bible:eek:...As you open up God`s word, pray and ask God to teach you what you do not know, the Holy SPIRIT WILL LEAD YOU...Find Scriptures with issues you are dealing with in your life, then when the evil one strikes at you, you can speak Scripture from your mouth and he will flee from you, the evil one hates Scripture because it is the true word of God and satan is a liar...As for your smoking, I understand that, I switched to a E-Cig and although it`s still using an aid, I have been smoke free for over 3 years with God`s help...Don`t take on things yourself, you are weak, we can do nothing in our own strength, when we try we fail, then the evil one attacks and reminds us of things that we once were...Trust, lean and rely on our beautiful Saviour, He will keep you, when the devil attacks, tell him with the authority of Jesus to get behind you, there is POWER in the name of Jesus...You maybe need to re-new your mind, in fact this is what we should do daily, as you get stronger in the word, your thoughts become clearer on Jesus, God is a lifter of our heads, He is our Tower, He holds you in the palm of His hand, and nothing can snatch you, tell God about all you are feeling, He knows anyway but we honour Him with our lips as we trust in Him...I spent nearly a whole year in the word, just to help me move away from mental illness that kept me trapped for over 30 years, depression is a trick from satan, may God bless...xox...
