Hi to everyone here, I am new to this site, decided to join because I am struggling in my Christian walk. I would describe it like being a yo-yo, up and down, trusting God and Jesus one minute, then the next turning my back and living a sinful worldly life. Back and forth, I wonder sometimes if God will tire of this routine and abandon me, realizing that maybe I am not worth the love he has preciously offered to me. My situation is that I am taking care of my elderly mother, (she's 86), and I am not able to attend a church, and where I work there is no one else who even professes to be a Christian that I can talk to and share with, so I try to rely on the computer and internet to get my needed doses of sermons and advice. I am really hoping that some of you here will be able to encourage me as I try to straighten my daily walk with Jesus out. I am 57 years old and I have been trying to follow God for many years, but I always seem to drift away, sometimes for a short period of time, others for up to a year drifting aimlessly. I look forward to hearing from you here at CC, and I really hope that sometime even I can share experiences with others and maybe help someone else. Praying for your support and thanks for listening.

Hi there
Its a struggle to do the christian walk alone, some times you need a good friend to guide you back and i know we are to rely on god for all things and that jesus is our counceller its nice to be able to talk to someone about your walk as well, i am kind of the same i am a christian but for whatever reason have found it difficult to connect with other christians at church so find my self alone with god alot! Haha not a bad thing at all but yea im 29 from new zealand but happy to chat if you want to, and as for god getting sick of you straying whats that parable of the lost sheep? We are the ones always running off in the wrong directions thankfully jesus is an expert sheppard with unmeasureable amounts of patience! :)

Thankful

Hi my name is David. Guess what I am 57 as well. We all need help in our Christian walk. That's why God introduced the church. We are all members of the body of Christ. You cannot do it on your own. Keep in touch and we could pray for one another cause we need each other

Hi Im victoria im only 23 I can honestly say it isn't easy having a straight walk with God but everybody is right its hard. you, fall, stubble, but you get back up think of it as baby steps you can't walk straight without falling a few time the thing about it repentance always being willing to come back ask for forgiveness dont believe those lie that he'll stop loving you God is the same yesterday today and forever he'll never forsake you hes always with you no matter what.
