I have been pestered by someone recently by someone I knew years ago but unfortunately contacted by them recently. Ten years have passed since I'd heard from this person. They had recently tried to friend mo on Facebook but I refused the request however she sent my a message on messenger.

It said "Hello Gideon, long time no see. I was wondering why you didn't want to be my friend. I think your dead grandad wants to speak with or he's looking adter you. I see you got married, I know what your wife does for living, hiw did you get a teacher to maery you? You have a daughter, is she yours, I have it on good authority that she's adopted. I think one of your sisters is like me. I think you and I are intrinsically linked and we were meant to be friends, anyway I'm seeing someone now. I think you've been lied to about jesus. The real truth is with lucifarianism, it gets you what you want! I just thought I'd let you know. I'll leave it with you. Good bye"

There's more to this message but I don't want to xopy the rest.

This woman was and still is heavily involved with the occult. For some unexplainable reason she seems to want me to believe her.

I've known her since 1989, she was my hairdresser but after she told me about what she was in to I stopped getting my hair cut with her. She has a lot of friends involved with all that creepy stuff. She has been in a psychiatric ward, had several breakdowns, was addicted to drugs, lost custody of her son, there's other things too that I won't divulge.

I didn't any relationship with her, it eas a client relationship. She was always inappropriately friendly.

In 2007 I bumped in to her, she told me she had some issues with drugs, I told her I had been saved two years earlier and suggeated she come to Church. She did but she declared her self to be evil, was then acted very oddly around my friends daughter at church and left.

It's been pretty weird all in all. My Wife suggeated I just leave it, I'm now in a qaundry. I won't to make it clear in a Christian way that I don't want to involve myaelf with her and suggest she finds a Church and be delivered but without upsetting her as she's clearly not well. I want to help her but I'm also angry about her massaging me. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

If you give her attention or acknowledge her obvious provocations, she will use this opportunity to her advantage.

You just have to ignore her and let her tire herself out, I understand she is unstable and maybe she won't tire herself out so easily or feel foolish for repeatably goading a person paying them no mind. She feels out of control in the situation and wants you to let her into her life in any capacity so she can unleash bad intentions on to you.

It's also a computer; block, ignore, do whatever you can in that capacity as well.

Don't try to enlighten her to The Truth or anything like that, she's pretty far gone if she's actually a practicing devil worshiper, don't justify your own beliefs to a person like this either.

You let the psychic attacks in by acknowledging them and giving them more opportunities. Pretend they aren't there and recognize them as the meaningless rambling that they are.

Don't give this person any energy or attention for them to use against you. Use God's shield to block the flaming arrows. Seriously the best thing to do is ignore the person, virtually and physically. She may even change her approach and appear as a sheep, it's a wolf in the clothing.

I would tell her to get lost. Either way she will be upset but regardless, why is this a big deal to you. You have a wife to take care of and you don't need this distraction in your life. Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.

Assertiveness is moving forward, but also being considerate of others. The second half is an assertive person Also knows that there are times when you Need to step on toes and doing so when necessary.
This woman sounds like a troll. She knows she irritates you and enjoys it.
I agree with others. Stop indulging her and stop trying to figure out how to say "get out of my life, but Jesus loves you, get saved". Don't respond. Just cut her out.

1. You have no obligation to friend anyone on Facebook, or communicate with anyone on Facebook.

It's fairly irrelevant in the overall scheme of life.

2. A married man has NO BUSINESS chatting with some other woman who's "interested" in him.

NEVER.
It's an insult to your wife.

3. When people are messing around with the occult you need to stay away.

Stay far away.

4. You don't even have an obligation to TELL HER you're not going to speak to her.

You don't even owe her an explanation.
You don't owe her anything.
Just get away from her.

5. You need to block her, ignore her, and keep her away from your page, your wife, and your friends.... just get rid of her.

Just "man up" and get rid of her.

This is NOT complicated.

Welcome here you can discuss with bible smart people and possibly make new friends, hope you like it here!
Also don't worry about this woman she clearly knew that you wanted nothing to do with her but she wanted to inflict you with pain with her message of wickedness,it's really a bait trick she wants you to react so she can get you to doubt your faith, pray for her but do not seek her out in any form, because it's clear she worships satan and just wants to hurt you, clearly she already has hurt you so don't be around her it will own cause you trouble and more pain.

Ignore her, she's just using by the devil to mislead you.

1 Peter 5:8 - KEEP YOUR SENSES, BE WATCHFUL, YOUR ADVERSARY, THE DEVIL, WALKS ABOUT LIKE ROARING LION, SEEKING TO DEVOUR SOMEONE.

Ephesians 6:13-14 - FOR THIS REASON TAKE UP THE COMPLETE SUIT OF ARMOR FROM GOD, SO THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO RESIST IN THE WICKED DAY AND, AFTER YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISED EVERYTHING, TO STAND FIRM. STAND FIRM THEREFORE WITH THE BELT OF TRUTH FASTENED AROUND YOUR WAIST, WEARING THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Pray for her brother too, that the Lord Jesus Christ would turn her heart back to him.

God bless you

pray to lord about her and ask him to put a hedge of protection around u and your family....and also block her from facebook your facebook page or make it private...suggest to your family to keep their facebook page blocked from the public too...if she persist on doing that report her to facebook administration.

The message was engineered to make you mad, it was written to tease you into making the wrong choice, a choice based upon anger and impulse. If you must, take some time and craft a response full of Christianity and nothing at all to do with a response to any of her taunts. Lead her to Christ by finding appropriate scripture, plant the seed by reasserting your belief in Christ and showing her you practice what you preach (by showing her love and understanding). But I’d make it clear you want nothing to do with her and any spirituality needs to be handled by a pastor. She is here to test your limits and control, this is an opportunity to grow in Christ, pray about it, and ask for the right words to say to this person and once you’re done, cut her off.
