Hello I just joined about a few days ago.
Figured I would introduce myself.
I ah e been a Christian for about 2 years I just recently had the privilege of helping baptize my girls.
I’m trying to develope my faith more as I keep getting distracted and I also have anxiety issues that keep me locked inside myself and have trouble making connections.....so that’s me in a nut shell.....

Hello @Kymbrle79, and welcome to CChat!

Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself (especially about how the Lord has been working so powerfully in your life, and in your daughters' lives as well .. and indeed, what a privilege and blessing to have been able to help baptize them :)).

God bless you! (Numbers 6:24-26)

~Deut
p.s. - as for developing your faith, we are called to participate in our own sanctification and do all we can to "work out" the salvation that we now possess, that God created/worked in us. But this we can only do with/alongside of Him who saved us and who promised to continue His mighty work in us (to grow us up in Christlikeness, as well as seeing us safely through this life to be with Him in Glory .. Philippians 1:6, 2:12-13; Hebrews 7:25).

1 Thessalonians 5
23 May the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.

Welcome to CC and glad to meet you. Since you are a Christian, look up Scriptures that say who you are in Christ. 'For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and self-control'. 'We have the mind of Christ'. 'I can do all things with Christ (the Anointed) who give me the strength'. So many more.
Put post-its around your place w/Scriptures that say who God says you are, God bless.

Thank you. I have read a lot of scriptures that say this but I cannot control my anxiety.
You did a very wise thing in sharing that with us. Now many of are going to pray for you and that you find peace, joy, and victory over your anxiety.

Nehemiah
8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
8:11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day [is] holy; neither be ye grieved.
8:12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

God bless you, dear sister.
