hi everybody,

uhm...im vevry excited to get tochat with all of you.
the reason why i joined this site is because i have been a christian for almost 2years nowbut i dont have any friends.when i first became a christian i had great friends but i was in the US at the time but than i had to go back to my home country.i have been back for a year now and i havent got a single friend.the church that i attend has mostly teenagers and older people but not alot of young adults.
i know it's not that big of a deal but i feel lonely,frustrated..been having ttroublewith my boyfriend, having a hard time with raising my 3year old son..andi have no one to talk to about these things..yes i talk to god everyday about these things but sometimes i want someone who will actually talk back to me right away and share my feelings.
almost everyday when i wake up i wish i was dead...i feel useless and purposeless.i usually pray and read my bible everyday but for the pas couple of months i have been slacking.

i really do not wanna go back to my old life but i feel like im slowly slipping back into my old ways of life..being angry all the time, cussing.being disrespectful, mentallly and verbally abusing my bf...i just cant look myslef in the mirror..im dishonoring gods holy spirit by the way i live.
being saved is truly the best thing that happened in my life..i wouldnt trade that fo ranything else...i messed up most of life..broke all of gods commandmends on a daily basis..but god had mercy on me and he forgave me for my sins..and i love him soo much for that.i dont wanna continue living my life like this anymore..it's liek i know what to do but i dont have the encouragement to do it..i cant really explain it...
has anyone gone through this? or has any advise for me?encouragent..

god bless

Hi,
I would continue to read the Word of God and He will pull you through this season that you are in. The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. I am going through some things in my life as well. I hear the Lord saying, Come unto Me and I will give you rest. You and I both need to seek the Lord. He is our answer ALWAYS! Be encouraged. Get christian music playing and get into His Word ... He is calling your name... YOU ARE LOVED BY THE LORD. Hugs!!! :)

Greetings, and welcome to Christian Chat. There are good people here, and most of them are open-hearted, in my experience. I will definitely pray for you; may all God's best be abundantly yours! =)

Hi Remmy,

Welcome to the site. I will lift you up in prayer about your circumstances. You should seek concerning your circumstances and trust He knows what is best. You said that in your church their isn't any young adults but teenagers and older women. My last church was like that, but it was the will of God. I befriended the older women in church and I learned a lot from them. All of them were married. I learned how to be a virtuous woman and alot about ministry, prayer, teaching, and etc. I also learned what it would take to be a good wife, even though I am single. If I was you, I would get with someone who really love the Lord and get under their wings. The bible says the older women are to teach the younger women.

HI REMMY THIS WEB SITE IS EXCELENT BECAUSE UNLIKE CHURCH ON A SUNDAY YOU CAN BE OPEN AND EXPRESS ALL THAT IS ON YOUR MIND KNOWING AND FINDING THAT OTHERS HAVE BEEN THROUGH STUFF SIMILAR TO YOU AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHARE WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT YOU UNIQUELY BECAUSE YOU ARE UNIQUE TO GOD, AND OTHERS THROUGH THEIR EXPERIENCE WILL SHARE WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT THEM, IN YOUR SITUATIONS YOU JUST NEED TO LISTEN TO GOD AND WHAT HE IS TRYING TO SAY TO YOU, HE WILL USE HIS WORD TO BRING YOU THROUGH WITHOUT YOU EVEN KNOWING IT AND HE WILL LEAD YOU OUT OF THE DESPAIR YOU ARE IN, YOU ARE LOVED, MY FAVOURITE VERSE IS PHILLIPIANS 1:6, THAT KEEPS ME HOPING IN GOD, JUST LISTEN TO HIM, THE GOD OF GODS

hiya remmmy, i know exactly how u feel with the slipping back into the old way of life thing.a friend of mine said to me the other day that lifes like a cd player, and u start of with this rusty scratched up cd, but eventually u might wanna clean cd, a new start. so ya take the dirty cd out, put the clean one in, but sometimes u put the dirty one back in again in hard times, or try play both cds at once which is confusing. and a couple of hours just talking to god, listenin to christian music, just thinkin, might help u to play one cd at once, it helped me when i felt the same way.

i'll pray for ya, keep smiling cos GOD LUVS UUUUUUU

hey Remmy! You don't know me, but I know the situation you're in. Well, not the exact situation, but I know the feeling you have. Hang in there Sister, cuz with God, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we just can't see it, cuz it's right around the next bend... GBU tons.

Hi! I know how you feel. I don't have any friends either. All my former friends have moved away or I have moved away from them. It seems to be pretty difficult to make friends these days unless you are into the things that most people are into like the same music, tv shows, etc.. I'm actually starting to give some of those things a chance because I feel so isolated and clueless. I sent you a friend request. Hope you accept it.

Hi Remy,

I just take each moment at a time, they say take each day at a time but each moment seems to work better for me. I've been reading the Joel Osteen devotionals "Your Best Life Now". It is motivational. Whenever I think of something negative I try to turn it around to something positive. I find I am hardest on myself and my own worst enemy, I can get a lot acomplished in a day and feel tired and then say to myself that I'm lazy and trhen I need to turn it around and say "no, I'm not look at all that you've accomplished today".
so when you find yourself thinking negative thoughts like we all do, try to just turn them around to positive and expect God's blessing to come into your life. When you say a bad word in anger right afer words say no, I didn' mean to say that I meant to say whatever...... say Peanut Butter or anything else. My moods changed all though the day and I always have to lift my spirits up, eventually it will hopefully just be in my nature.

Have a Great Evening!
