A warm Christian welcome to you, JT. Jesus loves you and so do we. Jesus wants people to seek Him. He wants you to find Him. Total and unconditional surrender to Him is the Way. I am so excited and happy to see your desire to learn! Just go to Him. His Spirit will teach all who would listen. God bless you.:)

Acts 17
17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Matthew 7
7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Hello JustTryingtoUnderstand, I hope you feel welcome by now. And that you feel the nearness of God especially in time you find yourself.

God is there, although your world seems to be falling apart. Job states, though He slay me, yet will I serve Him.

That is the kind of faith and trust God wants to lead us too and beautiful character and holiness.

God bless
