I_Am_Canadian, garet82:

I was being facetious. Even if I had ever been into any of that stuff I would have switched as soon as I found out about Jesus. I always prefer more power over less power.

I think it was good you made the joke in the singles forum and not the BDF. Last time I was trying to be funny there, I got an angry PM saying that GOD DOES NOT HAVE HUMOUR! So this was quite a mild reaction ;-)

I believe God does have a sense of humor :)

How could He tolerate us otherwise?

Now, some might say "love," but even love employs humor to survive.

Whoever it is, that is a incredible collection of what looks to be 70's and 80's foreign sporty type cars.
The craftsmanship looks amazing!

I see Toyota Celica's in the front, and are those BMW's 3 series also? And a Cressida and a Acura? Opel's?

If its you, can you add my old 1979 Mazda RX-7 to your collection one day? Metallic (medium) blue.
Man, I loved that rotary car.
Yea that does look like an old bmw 3 series. I was thinking that these were created when each car was still a concept, but then they'd have to all be toyotas. I don't think i've ever seen a blue RX-7, but I'm sure it looks great in that color.

I'm into:

- Writing. I have been blogging since I learned how to Google search. I used to be a substitute blogger for someone else and used to do freelance writing jobs. Right now I only have my personal blog to write for. And, recently, I started getting into fiction writing (well, fanfiction writing for now - anime fanfiction). I find it exciting to write stuff and just let my mind dissolve and flow in the form of words. So mostly, journal / blog and fanfiction.
- Reading. Of course. I can't write anything without having an interest in reading. I love reading anime fanfiction, webtoons / web comics, nonfiction (Christian living & bible study) and educational books (for dummies! how to / 101 books). Sometimes I read history and biography too.
- Anime. I'm so into watching anime or reading manga and light novels.
- Website / Mobile app / Software development. Reason I'm in uni right now. Ever since I learned the magic of designing software, especially UI, I have been in love with software development. I love building websites and for all my blog sites I try to design the themes on my own (my current one is a minimalistic wordpress theme).
- Karaoke. Life is better with music, and much better with Karaoke! Whenever I'm stressed out I get my USB microphone and start singing Karaoke songs on YouTube, and sing my heart out.
- Mobile gaming. I am very easily addicted to games so I try to minimize my game involvement. Right now I play one MOBA game on my phone and I use it to motivate myself to finish my school activities (like, I can only play my games when my essays are done). It works.

I started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu last month, it's going ok.

I started guitar about a year ago, I can play some basic worship songs on it.

I spend about a day a week volunteering at my churches version of the alpha course, going to either bible study/community group 1 day each week, and then Church one day each week.

My schedule looks like:

M: BJJ
T: BJJ
W: Volunteer @ Church
Th: Bible study/community group
Fri: Guitar lesson
Sa: BJJ
Su: Church

Yes, I stay busy! :)

Duh. Yeah. Not like I spend at least two hours a day singing or playing music or anything. But that's life. It's more than a hobby :p.

Things I'm into...
Tonight I will be in my bed.
Tomorrow I get in my car...then go into work.
After work I will go into my car again...go home and go into my house...

Okay...I enjoy making noise on my goodwill guitar, sometimes I'll open my mouth during that noise and make it worse.
Old engines, tractors, steam engines and most things mechanical.

Woodworking...made some furniture, used to do lathe work.

Welding/ metal projects.

Reading...have to be in the mood though.

Crocheting

Used to do canning. Applesauce, tomato juice, salsa, pickles, hot peppers.

I like walking. And hiking.

I'm into making sourdough bread. And we're going into the season where I make lots and lots of it. Somehow without meaning to I made a tradition of giving people a loaf of bread for Christmas.

I have spent a lot of my life re-inventing myself (not like in a Dr.Frankenstein way, but I digress). I did a lot of volunteer work and loved it. I'll still pitch in when things come up. I've volunteered as a counsellor for different women's groups and find that meaningful. I've always enjoyed writing. I was a blogger (like most of the planet), and currently am part of a writing guild and just had news that one of my stories has been picked up by an anthology that will be available on Amazon (little happy dance here in the corner). I have enjoyed acting and liked doing comedy the best. I'm into travel and getting out of my own culture. I learn so much. I have a Mennonite background so I cook/bake a lot and feel a little sad when I have no one to feed (I console myself by making those nights that I go out and let someone else cook for me, lol). I enjoy art, beauty, humour, exploring markets, learning new artforms and laughing myself silly with friends. I make rugs, baskets and write stories. Right now I'm into a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Yum.

My hobbies and interests are weird and varied. But to be honest I think I’ve been like that since my 6th grade teacher started telling us about 20th century poetry and operatic theater.

I love living creatures. Animals, aquatic life, bugs, ect. Learning about them, and especially seeing documentaries about them. And of course this is especially true for cuddly pets, especially cats. I adore kittens and watching stories about foster kittens and rehabilitated pets from abusive or tough situations.

I love learning about people’s stories, especially via documentaries. My favorites have been Ken Burn’s documentaries on the Prohibition, the Kennedy’s, and the Jazz era. Lately though I’ve been on a English royal family kick. House of Windsor has been a great one. I like the historical fiction ones too like Kings Speech and Iron Lady.

Pictures of the sky. Jigsaw puzzles. Nutrition and Organic living. Family Friendly Movies. Good healthy pet care (Pet care is sort of a passion of mine. Pets should have long wide deep cages with height as bonus space, and healthy diets, pets shouldn't be trapped in tiny cages or cages with wrong dimensions, they are living companions not stuffed animals). I of course also enjoy video bible studies, one of my favorite teachers these days is Chip Ingram. :)
