And how would your suffering bring you victory over sin, the world, the flesh, and the Devil?

If the Lord intends for you to glorify Him through your suffering, he will put you in the situatiom that will bring it about and He will give you grace to endure it. There is no need or purpose in seeking it..

Romans 5:3-5 King James Version (KJV)

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

F
ight the good fight of Faith to keep your faith in who Christ is and what He did on the Cross, so you stay in His death, burial, and resurrection and are, therefore, victorious. That is the only way we are triumphant in Christ (II Cor. 2:14). God told Paul that the power of Christ could only help him when he realized how weak he himself was, and that he had to totally depend on Christ so God’s power could work in and through him (II Cor. 12:9).

Move to a Muslim controlled land and witness to Muslims........not being mouthy just saying....
It's actually pretty rude and demeaning since the US bankrolls all the fanatical Muslims like the ISIS terrorists that tried to take over Syria. Just sayin . . .

How would you treat then if the Quran was linked to the teaching that Jesus gave at the village the 'woman from the well' came from?

The only suffering Christians went through in the NT was from their fellow members of the 12 Tribes. If you want to male yourself suffer for Christ you need psychological help and not from a Priest. You sure you have the right Jesus in mind?

M't:11:29:
Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
M't:11:30:
For my yoke is easy,
and my burden is light.

It was not rude at all....and is a very valid truth......and I said nothing about any version of Islam and would treat them all the same....as lost!

And to the bolded....ALL is a pretty big word pal....and is inclusive of ALL....if even ONE group is not supported by the U.S. that makes your statement a lie......

So British Jihadi Johnuy can whack it off? I got news for you, he was radicalized in the UK before he went to the Mid-east.

Who got smacked by some Russian cruise missiles after the US bombed 100 Syrian soldiers to death? It was Mossad and the CIA and US military advisors running the show from some cave in Syria.

https://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-c...-intelligence-officials-killed-report/5547099
[h=2]U.S. Coalition Intelligence “Operations Room” Inside Syria, Destroyed by Russian Missile Attack: Thirty Israeli, American, British, Turkish, Saudi, Qatari Intelligence Officials Killed, Report[/h]
The US and its allies had established a Field Operations Room in the Aleppo region integrated by intelligence personnel. Until it was targeted by a Russian missile attack on September 20, this “semi-secret” facility was operated by US, British, Israeli, Turkish, Saudi and Qatari intelligence personnel.
According to Fars News, this intelligence facility was attacked by Russia in the immediate wake of the US Air Strikes against Syrian SAA forces at Deir Ezzor in support of the ISIS-Daesh terrorists. The Russian warships stationed in Syria’s coastal waters targeted and destroyed a foreign military operations room, killing over two dozen Israeli and western intelligence officers”
“The Russian warships fired three Caliber missiles at the foreign officers’ coordination operations room in Dar Ezza region in the Western part of Aleppo near Sam’an mountain, killing 30 Israeli and western officers,”
The operations room was located in the Western part of Aleppo province in the middle of sky-high Sam’an mountain and old caves. The region is deep into a chain of mountains.

It was very rude and you should try and look at the US involvement over there. They have been the terrorists since a long time ago.

Q: The former director of the CIA, Robert Gates, stated in his memoirs [“From the Shadows”], that American intelligence services began to aid the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan 6 months before the Soviet intervention. In this period you were the national security adviser to President Carter. You therefore played a role in this affair. Is that correct?
Brzezinski: Yes. According to the official version of history, CIA aid to the Mujahadeen began during 1980, that is to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan, 24 Dec 1979. But the reality, secretly guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention.
Q: Despite this risk, you were an advocate of this covert action. But perhaps you yourself desired this Soviet entry into war and looked to provoke it?
Brzezinski: It isn’t quite that. We didn’t push the Russians to intervene, but we knowingly increased the probability that they would.
Q: When the Soviets justified their intervention by asserting that they intended to fight against a secret involvement of the United States in Afghanistan, people didn’t believe them. However, there was a basis of truth. You don’t regret anything today?
Brzezinski: Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter: We now have the opportunity of giving to the USSR its Vietnam war. Indeed, for almost 10 years, Moscow had to carry on a war unsupportable by the government, a conflict that brought about the demoralization and finally the breakup of the Soviet empire.
Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic [integrisme], having given arms and advice to future terrorists?

Brzezinski: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?
Q: Some stirred-up Moslems? But it has been said and repeated: Islamic fundamentalism represents a world menace today.
Brzezinski: Nonsense! It is said that the West had a global policy in regard to Islam. That is stupid. There isn’t a global Islam. Look at Islam in a rational manner and without demagoguery or emotion. It is the leading religion of the world with 1.5 billion followers. But what is there in common among Saudi Arabian fundamentalism, moderate Morocco, Pakistan militarism, Egyptian pro-Western or Central Asian secularism? Nothing more than what unites the Christian countries.

Having that viewpoint and trying to claim to close to God is not possible. You should be classifying the RCC as a terrorist organization as they have killed more people than anybody, even fellow Christians. The US should clean up the domestic terrorists before taking on the whole world. That is the duty of the US Military is it not?

And to the bolded....ALL is a pretty big word pal....and is inclusive of ALL....if even ONE group is not supported by the U.S. that makes your statement a lie......
There isn't as Saudi is the US proxy for all things associated with the 'Arab Spring' false flag operation, you know like in 7 countries in 5 years thing that is associated with the Pentagon. It is the World Banks program, the Us is puppet on a string and has no voice other than to say, 'Yes, sir!' to their masters.
Be as patriotic as you want, just don't expect to pull the wool over my eyes like you can the rest of America. You had to try and slip that little insult about Muslims in didn't you?

Nothing you said has any bearing on my OP in this thread....you assume I have no clue of world events and who is supporting who etc.....and my point stands.....if one wants to suffer more for JESUS, sell what you have and move to a foreign country that is hostile to Christians and witness for JESUS....and my second point is just as valid...your use of ALL makes you false and your point a LIE if even ONE radical Islamic group is not supported by the U.S.

That's because I was replying to that one point, sorry, insult to Muslims, in that one post.
You don't if that is your view of Muslims. An infidel to them is somebody who does not believe in God. Pretty straight forward so why does the US and Israel paint them as wanting to kill all Christians and Jews who claim to believe in the same God that is in the Quran.
As I pointed out they are all under the control od the US or Israel or the KSA and all want to annihilate the Muslims sitting on top of $trillions in oil. Gee what a surprise, just like the conquest of the world. Blame the bad parts on religion while the merchants scoop up all the treasures.
So far you haven't shown me one fact about anything going on so why should I assume you have the right facts? Throw them out there on some post that is important, this one isn't and it has reached it's end as far as I'm concerned.
You show who is who after all it is your claim rather than mine. The Kurds do not qualify as Turkey is not a friend of Syria, they area tool of NATO and will be that alone until the actions on the ground say different. The Kurds they are fighting are Syrians first and Kurds second no matter how much firepower is pushed their way.

Does it stand that you become the liar if the US or any of their friends are supporting even one group in Syria??

An infidel is someone who does not submit to Islamic rule, including accepting Allah as God, though their god does not have a Son and is Father to nobody, so you can hardly call them the same God.

I insulted no one....regardless of your bloviating accusation....and the burden of proof is on you pal...your the one who used the word ALL....another bait and switch deceiver here folks....

and to say that Jews and Christians worship the same god as in the Koran is idiotic and reeks of ignorance on a grand scale

Karen suffering is not something you should want it does not glorify him to purposely desire to suffer, he does not want you to have to suffer any more than you have to. Suffering will always be a part of this life we all ave suffered in some way or another some much more than others but if you are wanting more suffering then perhaps you don't know what true suffering is.

Many here have gone through such severe searing pain and left them so worn and weak and their bodies completely out of life so much so that death seems like a blessing just for rest and peace and freedom from the pain. Some go through this everyday with no relief just barely hanging on having only Jesus to lean on, others cry out for death sometimes because it can be so overwhelming and so harsh and that is just the physical suffering the spiritual suffering can be just as bad if not worse.
