Last summer my family and I went camping for a few days. We did more driving than hiking, but it’s hard to climb mountains with two little kids.

First photo- this mountain overlooks a quirky little town called Gothic. The entire area is stunning.
Second photo- on a “road” going up the side of a mountain. This was a nice section- the rest of it was a sheer drop off on my side and I may or may not have had to close my eyes most of the time.

Hunting last fall, if that counts.

Whoa, love the photos! Waterfalls are my favorite :). Last summer we had a family reunion in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We went on a 4 ish mile hike around a lake, it was beautiful! It was called Lake of the Clouds...here's a picture of it (I didn't take this picture). It was a beautiful day and I had a great time. We also saw a bunch of waterfalls on that trip--some pretty large that you view respectfully from a distance, and some smaller ones that you can interact with a bit. I like the small ones better, in a way.

Looks like a really wonderful place to visit.

I remember a family vacation to the Upper Peninsula many years ago. Tahquamenon Falls was most impressive. So was Lake Superior. The trip was in July but the water was frigid and too cold for quick dip.
I don't think we saw that one. But, we're already planning to go back! Lake Superior is ALWAYS cold. I don't even suit up when we're by that lake. Just roll up the pant cuffs and wade and skip stones. My favorite falls were:

Rainbow falls, because of how irregular it was and how interesting it was to watch the water. It really doesn't capture well in a picture, but here it is: (again, just stock photos)

Bond Falls was the most impressive:

And...I'm a sucker for getting up really close to moving water. Not the huge ones, though :p. So on that note my favorite "interactive" ones were Scott's and Agler:

This was Scott's Falls. You literally could have taken a shower under it. The water came from the spring above it and dropped down 8(ish) feet into a calm pebbled pool. Not much to look at, but great fun to splash around in. My car-mates were not pleased with how wet I got

And Alger Falls:

What you CANNOT see in this common picture of Alger falls is the upper falls. Up a rocky climb on the edges of the falls is a pine-tree forest and another set of falls. No one mentions these and most people seeing these falls barely step out of their car, so they miss out. This was possibly the funnest part of the trip because it included some rock scrambling, crossing the stream on fallen logs, and "exploring" Also, the upper falls were very interesting and unique.

“Step number four to receiving answered prayer is guard against every evil thought that comes into your mind to try to make you doubt God’s Word. Thoughts are governed by observation, association, and teaching. So this step is closely associated with step number three. The Bible says we are to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10:5). That’s why you should stay away from all places and things that do not support your affirmation that God has answered your prayer. Your thoughts are governed and affected by observations, associations, and teaching. That means that sometimes you will have to stay away from the kind of churches that can put more unbelief in you than anything else. Also, be sure to enjoy fellowship with those who contribute to your faith. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. PHILIPPIANS 4:8 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are OF GOOD REPORT; if there be ANY VIRTUE, and if there be ANY PRAISE, think on these things. The Bible tells us in Philippians exactly what to think on. Many people are thinking on the wrong things, and they’re defeated in life as a result. But if you will guard against every evil thought and think only on those things which affirm that God has heard and answered your prayers, you will be cooperating with God in faith. You will have to guard your mind in order to develop in faith. And as you stand your ground firm in faith, your faith will see you through to victory.

1. You pasted this entire passage from Kenneth Hagin's Bible Study Prayer Course.

2. This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, or with any conversation here.

3. You didn't even post ONE WORD of your own thoughts or ideas.

4. You've done the same thing in other threads.

5. Randomly posting completely irrelevant material into random threads just gives the impression that:

A. You might be crazy
B. You might be working for Kenneth Hagin, or a publishing company, doing really bad SEM.
C. You're just a bot.
