I don't watch TBN generally speaking or all the 'prophetic' programming that seems to be the norm these days; but I do on occasion check out what is being said and did so today

So I flick from the news to Baker's program and there is Perry Stone telling everyone that the east coast is going to be obliterated by a tsunami the likes of which has never been seen with the result that there will literally be no more east coast as we know..including the east coast of Canada. This will be a result of an earthquake in the Canary Islands that will split the main island in half

so I want to know when Stone started up with this latest of many 'prophecies' he says he has had and found out the prophecy he gave before this one (2017 apparently) concerned the west coast which was also going to be obliterated (2016)

I'm like 'so which one is it Perry?' both?

just wondering about how others view this and maybe Stone in particular...I'm not familiar with him really, but I would not cross the street to listen to him and the hundreds of others who seem to spout a constant stream of gloom and doom

I guess my first question would be...so if all these millions of people are going to be killed, why keep asking for donations and selling all your goods and especially all your 'prophecies' on CD, books and TB appearances? why don't YOU fast and pray dude and beg God to avert killing all the people Jesus died for and who might accept the gospel, rather than trying to scare everyone into moving to the midwest where the big explosion in Yellowstone is gonna do them all in anyway

God help us. How do so many many follow this type of delusion? Perry actually has the entire US being destroyed so why continue in that 'ministry'? maybe he has not noticed his overlapping 'prophecies' yet

I dunno. just wanted to say something about it I guess.

Talk about a stroke of luck being on that specific program ! Jim Baker can supply all his viewers with 10 years of non-perishable food for only 14 grand. That works out to only 32 cents a serving. Might I recommend the powdered garlic mashed potatoes with the air-dried beef jerky ? ;)

if I am not mistaken, more like 80...I just did a little online research on him
That's actually a put-down on my part to the ravenous wolves. Freely they have received, so freely they give charge.

... Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Matthew 6:5

I don't watch TBN either. I do like Perry Stone though. I occasionally look up his new programs on youtube. He's the only one I ever found on TBN who I COULD even listen to. The others all get on a kick and start mimicking each other on it: prayer shawls, seeds of donation and other weird things. I've never seen him do any of it. He doesn't start preaching their latest fad. I just mostly like his teachings from Israel and his endtimes stuff.

As far as prophecies, I've never heard him give one. But earthquakes in diverse places, along with the verse about the bottom of the ocean could be seen, lead me to believe that there will be widespread tsunamis at some point, which would affect coastlines everywhere. So...I wouldn't find such a prophecy to be complete and utter nonsense, though I'm not sure it would be considered a prophecy so much as an intelligent summation based on scripture. I mean, earthquakes that are widespread and massive enough cause tsunamis and tsunamis obliterate coastlines...

Not that I'm defending him. I just happen to find his program interesting.

I think he sells that on every program?

I mean in the hit 'n miss methodology of my viewing his show, it seems like it

anything with garlic gotta be good ... too bad it doesn't keep the confused but sincere and the actual false purveyors of gobble de gook away :geek:

You know this is odd . More than a year ago I watched a program on impending natural disasters . It featured a segment on how a landslide in the Canary Islands could cause a tsunami like Stone describes. This is also a old story too. It makes me think . Who inspired who .
