Right now, I'm seeking for contentment and peace.
I always think of my self that I'm never good enough or I should have done that instead of doing this.
I know that God have always blessed me and provided me with everything that I want in life.
I have a good job, a loving and a God-fearing boyfriend and a happy family.
But still, I'm not contented.
I still seek for something that I really don't know what is. :( Maybe it has to do with me, spiritually.

I always pray to God that he will give me a peaceful mind and heart.
I always worry about many things, we all are but seeking for contentment in life is really one of the most difficult.

Let me know your thoughts. It would be great to hear some advices from you, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. :)

There's a lot of information about this in the Bible, so God must think you're not the only person who has questions about it.

Try looking up words like peace and contentment in the bible, and seeing where those words lead you.

Hello sister, thanks for sharing:) just remember that God knows your heart and this includes how you feel. When I’m feeling anxious or worried I have to remind myself that God is taking care of me when I surrender all to Him. The more we keep on our eyes & focus on Jesus, the less we worry about things of today. I pray that the peace of Jesus be with you. Also, this scripture below helps me get through:)

If i had to wager a guess i'd say your lack of contentment is self imposed. God can offer and promise anything and everything, but if we don't accept it, it won't do us any good. When you stop judging yourself by YOUR standards, then calling it God's standards, and instead start judging yourself by God's Actual standards you will probably be more content.

Colossians 3:1-3
3 Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

1 Peter 2:9
9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Philippians 4:12-13
12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

I agree with what Ugly said and I'd add that when I've been the most content in life is when I focused the least on me. My needs....wants...desires.. became less of a concern when I focused on other people and what God would have me do. To me face of the matter is it isn't about me. John 3:30....He must increase, I must decrease. Our contentment isn't in ourselves or even in things the world provides....it's in increasing Him.

Thank you very much for all of your comments and kind advices. I was pondering and prayed a lot and i realized that i should focus more on what would make God happy. That includes being appreciative, be contented, be happy for the simple things and never worry about anything. God has already provided us with everything. GOD BLESS YOU ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST! <3 I love you all.
