I am new here, and am a struggling severly disabled Christian. Sounds like a oxymoron. In a way I feel like Job. When I say I lost everything I literally lost everything, and everyone that meant something too me. I have even though about suicide. I joined cause this pit of despair has me sinking inside. I feel like God has abandoned me.

Welcome to CC, friend.
I’m so sorry you’re feeling that way. I know how difficult and painful it must be for you, and I wish I could give you a hug. Please know that you’re not alone. You’re precious to God no matter what you’re going through. Putting an end to your life will never solve your problems. Such a decision would be tragic beyond words. I just said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to surround you with His healing presence in a special and powerful way, filling you with His love, peace, and strength in the days ahead. Remember that “the Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). He will never fail you or forsake you. May He be your ever-present help and may your confidence in His grace and goodness increase as you look to Him in faith. You can always come here to share and I’m here to support you. Sending hugs & prayers your way!

Welcome, Genec74. :)

Come on in, join the fun! There are a few folks here who are disabled and can relate to that reality. Most of us, myself included, can relate to going through times of struggle. All I can say is God is bigger than your situation, and He is capable of bringing you through.

God has not left you. God is there! He is always with you [psalm 46:11] He is not far! He is ALWAYS a prayer away.

Brother I can relate 100%. I know the holes and traps our suffering in this world can snare us in when it comes to God, but please hear and understand me when I tell you that I now thank and praise God everyday for the toughest struggle I had to endure in my life that led me to Him in truth. I promise you I did not see it at all when I was going through it, but God uses all things for good, for those that love Him. I am so sorry to hear you find yourself in the middle of trials, but you're not alone, and there is always hope.

Father I pray you guard his heart in this time of struggle, guide His eyes to you, and comfort Him through your Spirit, and your children for the glory of You Kingdom, all in Jesus name, amen.

Please brother message me any time, if you need anyone to talk to, especially the listening part, I'm here, other than that try to have a better day at least. We love you man.

There are a few others here that are in a similar situation. Hopefully you will find comfort, support and understanding from the members of this site.

As far as feeling the despair of Job I have been to that place too. I lived in a cage of my mind of desolation, with loneliness my only friend and depression creeping in the shadows. Traveling down that road you eventually lose hope, and once you arrive there is no God. Abandon all hope for those that enter there.

Fortunately, there is a God who loves you. Jesus is there with you and I will pray that He makes his presence known to you. Together you will climb out of the pit of despair that you are in.

Glad to have you as part of our family. Welcome to CC.

Thank you to everyone for your encouraging words, and scriptures. I would not be here had I completely given up. I am in a bad place physically and emotionally.
