There is NO other name given among men and or under heaven whereby MEN must be saved.......let we forget....he is also called....

Immanuel
The Great I AM
The Good Shepherd
The Son of MAN
The only Begotten SON of GOD
The ONLY mediator between God and MEN
The Savior of the the world
The Ancient of DaysThe Messiah
Good Master
King of kings
Lord of lords
LORD

etc.........
It is God the Father who saves through the blood of Christ. 2 Timothy 1:8-10 …8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God. 9He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our own works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time eternal. 10And now He has revealed this grace through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the gospel,…

remember Jesus had only risen from the dead like 50 days ago or so Jesus was with them 40 days after He rose from the Dead. The witness was that they have seen HIM as Peter preached in Acts 2:24

whom God raised up, having [g]loosed the [h]pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

Acts
2:31-32

31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

They were telling them of Jesus not just anyone but Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified and died and rose again .
It was God the Father who raised Christ, who saw that His son was not left in Hades.

In the Lord's Prayer, we are to address our prayers to "Our Father who is in heaven" not to "Our Father's Son who is in heaven. God sent His Son for our salvation. God had given atonement for salvation, God's children were asleep with their fathers. When Christ was crucified and the curtain was split they were released into life with the Father.

Christ has mighty power given to Him by God the Father, but God did not give away His power to the Son so He doesn't have any. God and Christ are eternal, what is true of them at creation is true of them today.

Jesus said all Power has been given to me

Matt 28:18 “

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Jesus is God and has all power because He is God .

It was God the Father who raised Christ, who saw that His son was not left in Hades.
Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."
(John 2:19)
.. the temple He had spoken of was His body
(John 2:21)
the Father and the Son are One :)

Without getting into yet another Trinity, debate. We must remember none of us can fully comprehend the full Nature of God. The Godhead is a mystery. We are limited in our understanding because God made us finite, yet God is infinite and we on this side only have enough through relationship and general and special revelation.

  • His Creation
  • His Word
  • His Spirit
  • A relationship with Christ our Lord & Savoir
We must approach the Godhead reverently , not prideful.

This is true and you are hearing the word as it is given to you AS LONG as you understand that all power is in God the Father, also. If you ignore what the Father says and listen only to the Son you are distorting the Son and there is no truth in you.

If you are trying to say that our heavenly Father is jealous of our worshipping Christ, definitely wrong. Our only access to the Father is through Yashua-YHWH-Jesus-Joshua you know the guy from Nazareth. There is no jealousy in the Godhead.

You are speaking of accessing the Father, so I assume you have put God and Son and God the Father in their proper place. I am speaking of those who say they are new covenant, meaning that they don't listen to anything that mean old God, the Father had to say. The ones who say Christ took over from the Father, not acknowledging scripture but making up something new. The ones who haven't even read the 119th psalm or any of the psalms praising God the Father who created them, their long suffering God who loves them. Their praise of God the Son has a hidden of meaning that denies the Father.

and is in mho actually the ORIGINAL !

JESUS is a much later addition/translation which when used correctly and applied to the One True JESUS/Yashua is fine.....but thousands of years later where we are NOW there is no longer 'just the One True Jesus BUT.....MANY FALSE christs natural human reasoning has come up with through traditions which are 'confusing and clouding the TRUE IDENTITY of Jesus/Yashua.
In Mat 24 Yashua HIMself WARNS of many false christs DECEIVING many v4,5.
SO....using only the name JESUS could/can/does apply to any of them who are causing UNWARY people to be deceived and drawn away from the True Jesus/Yashua.
As someone said....'it does not mean a thing if you don't have the King !!!
It's important to know the True Jesus from among the many false.
Too many ignore that Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." John 1 to 18 proves this. The WORD who is God became flesh. John the Baptist certified Jesus as that WORD.

It's because the the authority of the Father/Son/Holy spirit are all summed up in the name/authority Jesus.

It is obvious that in all english Bibles we will read JESUS....since that is the name USED in all WESTERN translations. But I would say that is not His true original name. Neither do we read anywhere in the OT that the Father's name was JESUS...from whom His Son apparently inherited His name as some are saying.
I prefer to use the name YASHUA which sounds more like He might have been called....also it puts DIFFERENCE between the REAL JESUS and the FAKE jesus from Rome who is worshipped by all Western churches....ignoring the warning Yashua Himself gave Mat 24.
Yeah his name is also referred to as Yeshua and as I have gathered from a preacher, alternatively Jesus and Joshua are the same name and have the same meaning.(though this might be incorrect)

That's rather a "redundancy" it's as if you are saying their minds aren't "one",God is the embodiment of all three entities...
1.God the Father,The Great I am,original all powerful and glorified form
2.Jesus the son of God,Immanuel,God made flesh,God with us
3.Holy spirit, the spirit of God,the spirit of truth
which ever one you "listen" to,God is speaking to you in essence and therefore you aren't confounded or lied to.

This is true only if you do not try to separate Christ from and Father and Holy Spirit as some are doing. God (the true God) is one, not Jesus alone as the new God with a new religion.

If you strip the word into what is left of the "new testament" after all the direct references to what the word tells us in the old testament you have very little of the word left and that is mostly a commentary on the old.

if that was the case I could see your point however, IF we follow Christ we fullfill the requirements of the old Because Jesus has fullfilled them. YOU and I can not any longer fullfill the Law . you and i broke it your guilty and deserve to die. Jesus paid your debt and HE did mine . SO now you are a slave to your Master. You are either dead because of the law you already broke or you have accepted the pardon of your death seantance paid by the Lord Jesus Christ, which is it? Christ standard is a higher one because you can only over rule a LAW by a greater law our NEW law is LOVE

Christ was at the time of creation, to remove Christ would be to remove the triune God.

What I think is so misunderstood is who God the Father is, for to remove the Father is also to remove God. You say that Christ brought in the law of love, and that is such a misunderstanding. If you read the psalms it is filled with love. What you are saying about what Christ brought in is what the book of Isaiah is all about. If what you are saying about God the Father was correct, we would be created by a God without love for us, Jesus could not go back and stop the four thousand years the world would have been in without love and we would be in real danger today. Today's church is saying that it is only because we have a new God that we can have anything good.

That is simply not so. When God (not Christ, but God) brought in the new testament that was a better relationship we have with God (it includes Christ but it was God) then we have a better way to relate to God, not a better way to relate to Christ. In fact it was given to the world by first being given to the Jews only. We are only partakers of this covenant by the grace and love of God and adopted in. We repay God by saying it was Jesus alone who gave us gentiles this wonder, this thing of absolute beauty and love.
