this! and it is true it doesn't just effect one "camp" its an epidemic all over the bride of Christ where people have forgotten the word.

1.) is the promise written to a believer, unbeliever, sinner. who

2.) the context of what is said. what

3.) is it for the NT or OT covenant. time

But the Corinthians had spiritual gifts which made them think they were "ruling". That is the WOF/Charismatics today not fundamentalists who are cessationists.

lol Ok if you say so . They do the same thing just a differnt method many error in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as many error in the Gift od Pastoring , more Fundamentalist support ungoddly laws of the land. and tout groups like the APA.

that is were me and a few charismatics differ, there is only one King and i serve Him.

now many will clam eph 2:6 as their right as reigning kings, thats a little off. but i see Romans 8:37 as how we live a victorious life, in the love of Christ. that enables me to live a joyful life no matter what.

lol The word of God and the Lord Jesus called us to be servants . kings and preist UNTO the Lord not to our selves . as a Pentacostel those who say we teach other then what has been said does not know our doctrine , and has greatly blanked us out of a bias

i wont defend excess or trying to bend God to my will, but i do believe we have a measure of authority in this life. the main reason of it tho is to save the lost and to help our brothers and sister.

I agree we do have authority but it is also authority under obediance . Jesus said you have not because you ask not that what you ask you ask with wrong motives, intentions, a miss. Jesus said IF you have faith the size of a Mustard seed you can say to this moutian move to the sea parphrasing . BUT you have to knjow what you are asking for is what God said or says YES to. you can't name and claim anything outside the will of God. And God can still say NO :)

i think it should have been added that the love of power is a root of many evils. it anything has destroyed credibility of the charismatics its the prosperity Gospel, and the mentality that what we are blessed with is our own.

right, most people need to understand the are called to be meek.

and that word was culturally translated as great power under authority. it was used for war horses in the roman empire.

amen the love of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ brother that is why they do what they do . Got to be real and God is not mocked. the is is long and the results are still the same. Preacher after preacher God has delt with . that should humble us more
