If you think the Israelites did not believe in Yahweh and were not saved, then you should be asking yourself if Yahweh saved you.

Goodbye.
Night Night man :) I think CEE added a bit more to what I said, so read their post. No need for me to say anything since he said it just fine :) Blessings!

Clearly the Israelites believed in Yahweh, and equally clearly they apostatised.

Proving the fallacy of OSAS.
Heh, you have not proven anything. You were shown why the never entered. THEY DID NOT BELIEVE. It's right there in scripture. TY Jesus for truth, wisdom, and understanding. YAY YESHUA

That's like saying... "I believe in aliens" Then thy prove beyond a shadow of a doubt there are no aliens... Then you're like.. Well I guess they don't exist...

If you can change your mind about them not existing, then you truly never had a true, undying, faith that they ever existed to begin with. Same thing :) YAY YESHUA
But it's pretty obvious that all of the Israelites who came out of Egypt did believe the command to put blood of the Passover lamb on their door frames. So to say they didn't have a true, underlying faith is ridiculous because their faith saved their firstborns.

Don't tell any Jew the Israelites did not believe in Yahweh, you will be in serious trouble.

I have a hard time believing you actually believe the things you say when they so flatly deny Scripture.

Heb 3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
Heb 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

I think this pretty much discredits what you've said. Who's in trouble?

Who did the Israelites worship?

That's all that I'm saying. Those who believe enter. They believed enough to get saved out of Egypt, but stopped believing during trials.
Thats because they never had faith,

Their faith was dead, it could not save them

Clearly they did not, they were a bunch of winers because they did not believe,

HEARING does not mean they had faith to begin with. :) I heard Jesus is in Tulsa.... you believe what you heard?
So they worshipped a God they did not believe in. That is stupid.

Yeah, it is LOL... Maybe they thought they would be ostracized from the group if they didn't? Who knows.. But you can't refute scripture that tells us that they didn't enter in because of unbelief.

They saw the parting of the Red Sea... they saw ALL the deliverance, but yet did not believe. Yup, was pretty stupid.

And all the sheep and cattle they sacrificed to a God they did not believe in, the Ark of the Covenant they made according to God's instructions. Of course they believed.

I believe its truer to say they followed Moses, but not God. They listened to Moses and later when Jesus spoke to them. Who was their focus? Moses.

John 5:45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

This goes back to the mountain of Sinai. They sent Moses up instead of coming to God for themselves. And later they asked for a king instead of for God. They wanted an intermediary instead of being lead by Him. They didn't believe in Him.

Nope, and that's why we are told to not follow their example of unbelief in the NT. If they truly believed they wouldn't have built Golden Calf's and went to idolatry. Seriously, if they KNEW GOD was the ONE TRUE GOD and that HE were their ONLY DELIVER and SALVATION, then why did they? LOL Because they truly didn't believe that or they would not have went to idols.

If you believe fire is going to burn you? Are you going to put your hand in it? No, u're not, because you TRULY believe that fire will burn you and NOTHING can change your mind about that. No matter what ANYONE TOLD YOU, you KNOW fire would burn you. So guess what? You don't EVER stick your hand in the fire.

Same thing! You won't ever see me making golden calf's and worshiping idols, because I KNOW that God is the FIRE and I'm not gonna be stupid.

They didn't believe. Nope... Bible says they were in "unbelief" so that is what you should go with.
