Well, me has no iced coffee but I DO have a Carnation breakfast drink with cafe mocha flavor that I drank this morning.. LOL.. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet here while Denise (neighbor across the hall) is at work..
I remember Carnation instant breakfasts from my childhood. My mom gave us one of those before going to school. I used to think she was cool because she gave us shakes...turns out she was lazy. NO! She was never lazy, she just wanted something to feed 4 kids fast is all. It worked! I loved the vanilla one and chocolate, but I never had a cafe mocha flavor now I feel ripped off! But maybe not, because as a kid I may not have liked that flavor like I would now. I will have to look at those again at the store now just to see if we have that too. Thx ladybug now I am wanting to drink shakes as a grown up! LOL I love it! :p ...

Have you a good relationship with your neighbor Denise? Do you share a cuppa with her often? I pray God uses that relationship for His will then...Amen!

Well, let's say that I do like Denise, but her entire being is LOUD. lol... We see each other all the time, talk on the back porch, do yard sales. She puts stuff together for me when I don't want to.. lol

Suffice it to say I cherish the time that she is gone from here, it gives me a vacation from her noisyness..

For some odd reason, the strawberry Carnation now tastes like vanilla.. blyuck...

You are one of a kind Catwomanladybluebug! I love it. You know God loves Denise - is she a Christian? I know some people who are a bit unnerving which I love nonetheless too so this was funny to me.

Denise is proudly, loudly, flamboyantly gay. As in she has a gay pride flag in BOTH her front windows, AND one on the back porch. I don't agree with her lifestyle at all, but I just wish that she wasn't so..visual about it.. There are so many gay, lesbian and transgenders living in this building, I truly feel like I'm living in Sodom and Gomorrah.. lol

Yes we are living in a sinful world aren't we but we can choose what we celebrate - celebration itself based on luck - or celebrate the steadfast and ever-powerful love over of sinners - God Himself. Which rocks your boat? I chose song number 2 but I used to love number 1 back in the day. But now that is empty - only the Lord will do in celebration now. I love gay people - I just hate sinfulness is all. I will pray for you and Denise's relationship to grow then, so both you and her can be transformed into His likeness. Amen!

Good Morning Deade! How BB Ya?
I am just fine slave, I kind of had a bad day yesterday with gut cramps all day. I am feeling much better today. I noticed I had some great posts especially on the RP forum. I guess it proves when I am weak, I am strong in spirit.

2 Cor. 12:10
"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

Oh no no.. Don't get me wrong, I DO like Denise alot. :) I'm NOT gay, by the way.. lol.. Anyhoo, she's funny, nice, helpful.. She can be extremely generous.. It's just that her flamboyant visual of the gay pride flags is totally embarassing to me, especially since I'm straight.. Her flags are like a neon sign screaming YES I'M GAY.. lol

I put both of those songs on there to compare the emptiness of one over the other. They both are great tunes - don't get me wrong, but only one brings to music what music was made to be - an ordination to praising God! :)...

I get it! I would see her as I saw Saul become Paul in the Bible. As she is a great announcer of things, so she would be a great announcer of God as she is changed and transformed by Him. I see her as His Child (for this is what God's eyesight sees). I see her prospering in His love and grace and correction. I would embrace your claim to goodness as she proclaims whom she serves at the moment, but let yourself feel comfortable around her, God is ok with that! Understand she serves who she serves now, but you will love her beyond your limited view of her and love her in the context of God's eyesight thru you! Continue to hate the sin yet lean into the love of the person nonetheless in the unconditional love of the Father and Son and the Holy Ghost! It sounds as if you and her are good, thus, God has you there to bless her with your transformed life in Him thru testimony then...Amen! So, she bugs you - oh well - I bug myself, but I am learning to let God's grace deal with me in that - LOL.

Well Deade - I am sorry for your pain yesterday - and I would have prayed had I of known as well - but isn't it interesting - I have noticed in my life that discouragement comes when we say what God will do - that God will always keep me healthy, that He will always be bringing me into the land of Canaan where I will eat honey; well, He won't. God is concerned about only one thing - getting me into a personal relationship with Himself. There is no possibility of discouragement if I will only remember that this is the relationship - not God's blessings, but Himself.

I am glad God has provided you with relief from that issue. But you are right - as we are weak so we become strong in the Lord, as the Lord is our strength and Joy. Amen Brudda! Amen! I have yet to read your autobiography but I plan on it sometime later - I look forward to it Deade. Thank you for your transparency and even your vulnerability it looks good on you in Christ!.
