For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
1Corinthians 4:20
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:10

Jordan.PNG

This is Jordan Fumbelo, a son of Miniva and Patrick Fumbelo our leader for the Revival Fellowship Zambia,
with oversight of three districts namely: Chavuma, Zambezi and Kabombu of the north-west province of Zambia.

At the age of one year and seven months Jordan was in the team of his brothers and sisters that walked along the flooded stream.
While they were busy playing he disappeared. His brothers looked for him but their search proved futile.
Ninety minutes later passers-by found Jordan already drowned in deep water. The good samaritan informed Joel the eldest brother,
who promptly dived into the stream to retrieve the body of his dead brother.
He took the corpse to his mother, Minerva.

She was not shaken by the situation , but she prayed and challenged God on his promise of healing the sick and raising the dead
in the name of Jesus. After an hour of prayer in tongues the child came back to life.

Now Jordan is two and half years old. You can see him standing in front of the damaged bridge where he got drowned during the flood.

This testimony is from Gabriella Wanori in Papua New Guinea which has been over the last twenty years
experiencing Pentecostal Holy Spirit revival with signs, wonders and miracles …

MY LITTLE BABY DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE 3 HOURS LATER!

In 2001 I was 5-6 months into my pregnancy, when I gave birth to my baby weighing only 1.2kg.
He had no fingers and his ears were not properly formed.
My little child died after ten minutes and the Australian doctor said he had to do the report
and get the baby away to the morgue in a plastic bag.
I asked the doctor if I could pray.
I was already spirit-filled and I had the confidence and wanted to pray for my child
and see what God could do.

Gabriela W.PNG

I had been baptised in water by full immersion and had been baptised in the Holy Ghost with the
Bible evidence of speaking in new tongues.
I said, "God, You are so powerful and so wonderful. I have seen the miracles that You have done
in my life by changing me from bad to good, and I believe that You can do the same with the power
that raised Lazarus from the dead; and that power is in me today, and I believe that this power
can raise my son.
But if You wish to take him away I do not have any say; life or death, it is all Yours and I praise Your name."
And I said, "Thank you, doctor", and went back to sleep. I couldn't cry, and the Lord was very close to me.

Three hours later, as the nurse was about to open the door to the morgue, the Lord did the most wonderful thing
- the baby came back to life!
The nurse ran back to the doctor and they cut the bag and the string - the baby was breathing, he was screaming,
and struggling, he opened his eyes! The doctor put in the drip & said, "Go & get the mother."
When I saw my baby I said, "God, You are wonderful, You are powerful, and You prove it; when I have Your Spirit,
when I cry out, You come down and You meet my need".
And the doctor said to me, "Woman, you are very small but your faith is great."

We stayed in hospital for 1 month and the baby's ears and fingers formed properly, and his weight went up to 4 kg.
The doctor said, "The baby is very healthy - go home!"
Now my little boy is 5 years old and very healthy.

Dead is dead and living is living . No walking dead. No limbo in between . Human experience is not the validator of the things unseen Never a source of Christian faith (Christ) .It where the father of like comes in like a serpent. One source of faith by which we can know God not seen, as it is written

I believe the days are near when the children of God will be prepared to fulfill these great signs. I heard one pastor describe once another way to see it-- he asked (paraphrase) "do you believe you can raise the dead?" Then he said that if someone there had just received the Spirit of Christ, and dedicated their lives to Him, then they just raised someone from the dead--themselves!

Another pastor reminded recently that Christians who have died with Christ by being united to the New Covenant through an eternal faith commitment, have been raised to new life with Him already, and can never die again. When saved Christians die, we do not die, but step out of our physical being, into eternity, unless we are blessed to see the return of Christ.

Recently, I perceived that I heard Jesus say to me as I lay in bed, or had just woke up: "You are standing on the edge of eternity; what do you have to say for yourself?" I immediately said, "I trust in Jesus." And, a while later I also said, "not enough." This same message was confirmed by a random conversation with a pastor a couple weeks later: "what do you have to say for yourself?"

I don't know the bible as well as I should, so maybe someone could add some thoughts and scriptures in response to this experience?
Is that in the bible?

Yes, it the gospel that raises the dead... not us. No greater work than that.

@HeraldtheNews

Welcome back. Good to see on Christian Chat again.

As for your query about the question "what do you have to say for yourself?" I don't think it is specifically scriptural;
but it is pertinent to our walk and our faith.
We need to examine ourselves and be mindful of the gospel daily.
It is a good question, and it challenges one to be discerning about one's walk and testimony -

"what do you have to say for yourself?" A good place to start in prayer to God.
