Just wondered as I have absolutely no idea what happens to mine!

Do they get raptured...or something?

I think lost dryer socks turn into the plastic tabs at the end of bread loaves. Never have enough socks, but always have extra tabs, even though I throw them away.

Me too, just found one on the floor. I noticed also in my travels that there always seems to be a single shoe on the road no matter where you go. Probably looking for the lost sock.

I know just what you mean.

I wonder if the socks get sucked into some sort of transwarp votex and
end up in a parallel universe or something.

No more buying pairs of socks, instead you buy sets of socks. This is what I want for Christmas provided I stay on the 'nice' list and not the naughty one. This may require prayer. :)

You know, I bet if you did get a pair or socks and a spare. That you would
never lose a sock. So you will still end up with an odd sock!

this admission will break the hearts of some of theses who have posted...

HUB = LOOSES stinky socks ALL of the time, and for pete's sake I am a reformed=healed' OCD'er...

'they' were just every where, they turned-up in the most 'un-believable places,.,

I eased-UP... He's since sort of come around, :) I'm OK...

I think they end up on the far side of the Moon. I've noticed that there are few pictures of it so some kind of conspiracy must be going on. Is NASA supplying one legged Aliens with Socks and using the Moon as a Single Sock Center?

Hey just a thought, maybe the moon isn’t made of cream cheese. Maybe
its made of lost socks. That’s why the astronauts bounce! 😳

We buy socks in 6-packs and they're all identical. So, every time I find a partnerless sock, I save it. And every time there is a hole in a sock, I throw it out. A new partnership is born.

Come summertime, when socks aren't needed as much, any "spare socks" become dusting gloves.

Now, if I could just come up with a solution for bread loaf tabs.

I doubt it, try the lint trap or moving the machine,
it is possible it might have gotten lost under or behind the drum in the washer or dryer.
