An award speech that isn't bashing Trump. How wonderful he praised Christ. Excellent speech.

You made two of the same posts on this. And there was already a post up before yours. A bit overboard.
And, really, the bigger he gets the worse the parts he plays. In Guardians he played a guy that slept around and after sleeping with one he even forgot she was on his ship. And I believe his most recent included a sex scene. Not to mention the language he uses often.
Hard to say "yay Chris" as a Christian with all that under his belt. And his speech said "God" only. Most actors and singers aren't atheists, so it's no surprise he got cheered. Mostly they filtered his speech through their belief system filters, and didn't hear anything they may not already think of their idea of God.
Funny how Christians go gaga over some big Hollywood actor making somewhat generic statements as if he's done anything special while I see Christian bands that often get vilified despite going into dangerous clubs with their faith night after night.
I witnessed a band in a club so dangerous they frisked you just to enter, spend 4 days at a hot music festival, fly home, go straight from the airport to catch their gig, have the singer hurt his knee onstage and finish a show, and in front of hundreds of people proclaim Jesus Christ and their Christian faith.
One band had death threats at an upcoming show, went anyways and had to be snuck out of the club to avoid the large group waiting outside for them so they could beat them for their faith.
And there were no viral videos or people poo pooing over how great these people are. They actually face great ridicule from the church.
Some Hollywood rich boy makes generic claims about God at an expensive award show and everyone acts like he did something special.
As is often the case the people taking Real risks are ignored or out down while the showboats that risk nothing, but are popupar, get paraded around.

My post had to be approved before it appeared. There was no such post showing on the news board prior.
Please don't judge the newbie so harshly. Thanks.
I think a celebrity praising God in an award speech is a lovely event. No downside.
