Yes, I think BibleGateway does as well. This is a worrisome trend in and of itself. The TPT is not a real Bible, it's not even a paraphrase.
I want to study it but I don't want to pay for it. Now I can post what I find in this discussion.

Sure. The Passion Translation isn’t finished entirely yet. But what is there can be looked at.

One glaringly obvious issue (it should be anyway) is with TPT’s “translation of Song of Songs. Simmons chose to have Jesus as the “Bridegroom” telling His Bride, the Church, that we are His equal.

This is blasphemous and heretical. And it’s just one reason I warn others to stay away from this “translation.”

I question why no NT author mentioned it if it is such an important allegory of the church and Christ?

Indeed. Knowing that the Church is the “Bride of Christ” is one thing, making Song of Songs about Jesus and the Church is quite another.

Here is NAR doctrine. They love "more advanced teachings" that the church has not had in 2,000 years (Bill Johnson says that in his books):

I had to nurse you and feed you with “milk,” not with the solid food of more advanced teachings , because you weren’t ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready to be fed solid food,
1 Corinthians 3:2 TPT
https://bible.com/bible/1849/1co.3.2.TPT

Paul does not have anything more advanced than the crucified Lord. That was Paul's point up until now. Wanting "meat" from "wisdom" teachers was causing the Corinthians to divide against Paul because only the meassage of the cross has the power to change lives not all the wacky NAR teachings that get away from that.

1 Cor is a good study because it mirrors the problem in the Charismatic churches today with the growth of the NAR movement.

Absolutely. As Paul also wrote, he determined to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified.

1 Corinthians 2:
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

The so called “prophets” and “apostles” of the NAR love to focus on the “more”, as you say. They talk so much about the “now word” of God or the new things He is doing and revealing. Apparently these are things never known before to anyone, not even Paul and the other foundational apostles.

It is pure arrogance and pride. They say “thus saith the Lord”, when the Lord has not spoken.
