Just keep waiting. The ministry of our failures is just as important as the ministry of the Spirit. Failure to please God is what kills us and prepares us for the ministry of Christ's life.

You may not be able to understand what I'm saying right now and that's okay. I know you probably feel far, far, far away from God right now but he will find a way to bring you near to him and fulfill the desire of your heart to be near him. He wants that too.

"14Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But that is not what God desires; rather, he devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from him. "-2 Samuel 14:14.

This'll sound nuts to you and possibly others, but there is a big, hidden, almost secret conspiracy to convince people that God is some sort of parasite that wants people to stay stuck in "unenlightenment". Feel free to PM me about it, but I don't feel comfortable into detail about it in a public forum. Hope you understand.

Amen! And here, here. We are to seek the kingdom and the life that is waiting for us in Zion...in the presence of God. We have this high calling in Christ...to abide in Him and walk as He walked. Welcome here. (I'm new myself)
I'm new also and drawn to your text! Sounds like a brother I have heard preach on what has Abraham found? :)

in heaven, may the tree of life bear fruit that will actually cleanse our wonderous teeth in heaven, so that no need to brush teeth, and that it's all taken cared of, because of how perfect it will be, amen

sin can offend us, yet there's strange sinful desire to like what offends us

Would you explain what you mean about the ministry of our failures & failure to please God is what kills us?
I heard a brother say that phrase almost verbatim. He said there was victory after his defeat/failure, to produce what God wants, like a death process, we come back up in victory. It takes out pride that we've accomplished something. Everything has to go through death & resurrection as a principle.
Is this close to what you posted?
Appreciate anything you can add. Thanks.

I think you've got a good grasp on it.

When we get to the place of total defeat and failure and we acknowledge that we can never get from here to there, that is where God meets us in the power of his presence and we are delivered from our enemy. That is how we were saved, and that is how we will overcome the besetting sin that plagues us.

I would be interested in chatting to individuals who have truly felt a strong pull to live holy and in the Spirit continuously.
To be set apart from the flesh and live as a living sacrifice, completely surrendered to His will.
Hi there. Yes yes, I do feel the need to grow in Christ and to seek Jesus so that he can fill me deeper with the Holy Spirit. A lot of time I totally fail Him because of my human part of me but it is my choice to seek Jesus. My laziness.
A while go and I had got into the habit of praying while I walked. God spoke to me during my walks. In our busy lives of work and family we do need to find a way to come away with Jesus , to that quiet place each day so he can refill us so that we can be used by him. Short, direct prayers before work, in your break and while you drive. But we also need to be reading His word daily and praying.
Thank you for your post which has encouraged me again to ' get on with it' Life is so short. God has a purpose for each of us.
