The World Cup is a gold trophy that is awarded to the winners of the FIFA World Cup Association Football Tournament. Since the advent of the World Cup in 1930, two trophies have been used: the Jules Rimet Trophy from 1930 to 1970, and the FIFA World Cup Trophy from 1974 to the present day.
The first trophy, originally named Victory, but later renamed in honour of FIFA president Jules Rimet, was made of gold plated sterling silver and lapis lazuli and depicted Nike - the Greek goddess of victory. Brazil won the trophy outright in 1970, prompting the commissioning of a replacement. The original Jules Rimet Trophy was stolen in 1983 and never recovered.
The subsequent trophy, called the "FIFA World Cup Trophy", was introduced in 1974. Made of 18 carat gold with a malachite base, it stands 36.8 centimetres high and weighs 6.1 kilograms. The trophy was made by Stabilimento Artistico Bertoni company in Italy. It depicts two human figures holding up the Earth.

A school of thought (or intellectual tradition) is a collection or group of people who share common characteristics of opinion or outlook of a philosophy, discipline, belief, social movement, economics, cultural movement, or art movement.
Yet if God being the author of reality shows us a revelation of Spiritual truth that is diametrically opposed to common sense and human reasoning then is it a school of thought we fall under? Or is it the Person of Jesus Christ Who is the truth and reality? Doctrine - therefore - precedes from that premise and footing in His Word and in relation to Himself in our Spiritual/spiritual connection mindfully placing our stance to be Christ-like and not liberal or conservative or neutralist - for all schools of thought have some truth in them, but the whole of truth, (therefore the only truth or reality) is found only in Jesus Christ Himself - for He says, " I and the way, the truth and the life."
Does God want us involved in politics? Yes, He wants us involved in peoples lives - thus, if we can make a difference in way of a vote etc in the name of Jesus so do it. Yet, were also know the governments are not God's Kingdom but are of the world here on earth, so as His Church goes in society so go we...but yes be involved in political stances in His name.

Welcome in ... Debrra - That means you are not physically dead yet on earth ... you feel - that means hope is still there - and Hope, the Word promises us - never disappoints. Now to get the feelings aligned with truth is all so that your Character will align with hope in Christ Jesus - what are you feeling empty about?

When I first saw you write "empty" I thought negatively - no thing left. Then I started to think that when something is empty something else fills it up. When you empty your dinner plate - you are full. When we give of our selves or our money we are filled with a feeling of joy being able to help someone else.
So as we empty we fill something else up. It has to go somewhere.
Would the same hold true for emptying ourselves before the Lord? To allow Hope to fill its place?
Giving everything to the Lord we then become empty of the problems, the sin, the frustrations, even the anger. As we empty ourselves we leave a space for God. He enters and we are filled with the goodness of God.
When we cast all our burdens on Him we have the room to become full - full of His grace, full of His compassion, full of His love and forgiveness.
If we don’t empty “us of us” we can’t be filled with the Spirit.
Jesus speaks of being filled with living water. It is what our souls need. In a dry and thirsty desert the need for water is great - it sounds as if you are in a desert. Are you? What desert is your testimony? I will pray for you that Jesus will be your re-fill from your empty.

It is the little things that can hold us back.
God wants you to be entirely His. Are you entirely His? Have you completely emptied yourself of all that is not of Jesus? It takes time doesn't it? It has taken me a lifetime even. It doesn’t happen with the snap of your fingers. But I believe we need to focus on this.
My encouragement is to be in His Word. Pray, and talk with other believers. I thank you for being transparent and honest before His Family - can we pray for you about anything?
