Go (John 8:11) to (John 3:17) hell (Book of Matthews)

if people take this as a commandment, that will be a disaster

because it's taken out of context ...

here is the context
John 8:11 - neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more
John 3:17 - Jesus came not to condemn the world but to save the world through him
Ok I'm gonna respond to your post.
My thoughts to follow are not against your post but I have made this point with others on this thread.

Jesus could not condemn her because to condemn would have fallen foul of the Mosaic Law.
The adulterer with here was not presented, there were no witnesses either.

That's why Jesus said, kill her if you can find a cause to do so, if you are without sin go ahead, if not back off.

So he could not condemn her. And if he did and she was stoned then he fell foul of the Roman civil law and would have been killed.

So we see that he could not condem her according to the law.
We know he came to fullfil the law.
We as belivers are no longer under the physical law and it's penalty.
We now have the spiritual law in our hearts.

Its not our job to deal with false teachers etc .its Gods justice on them and as for your mind..like anything in our lives concerning right and wrong..Jesus can win over satans attempts to control your mind...rebuke satan and he will flee in Jesus name! There is AUTHORITY in speaking Jesus name..we are ALL given this authority if we ask Him for it..be bold!

We have to be careful though because a baby christian might not have the maturity and understanding than a more seasoned one so we cant hold them accountabke and judge them for what they dont know..

If Jesus did not care about the Roman law why did he say "Give to Ceaser?

Yes they did end up killing him and for me that was the purposemof the trap set before him with the adulteress woman.
The accusers could not ask for Rome to kill him, because he had nothing wrong.
Condemn this lady the death then Jesus fell foul of Roman Law.
Given that at the time only Rome could do that.

Pleasure to meet you Jewel

We are to give to ceasers what is ceasers (taxes( and Gods what is Gods...jesus spoke out MANY times against powerful people..religious leaders etc...so dont think he was concerned about laws made by man..Jesus knew his purpose at the begining..knew the purpose for His ministry and knew that one day..those people that mocked Him were the very people Hevwould die a horrible death for..the roman soldiers at the foot of the cross..the thief that died by His side..you and me...!

So what's your thoughts concerning

Romans 13:1-3

Submit to Government
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

I see what you are saying.

If memory serves me concerning "Give to Ceaser" was a response to another trap, and The coin was the Tiberian Denarius.

The rulers if that time were trying to put Jesus in a corner by asking stupid stuff and condemn Him..they did that all the time..Jesus kept calm..knowing that they were trying to manipulate him..backfired...jesus was more concerned about thier hearts and spitual welfare but people could only see the outward superficial...aka like when jesus said eat of this bread..aka fkesh...drink of this wine aka blood..people thought he was a cannible etc

The rulers of the time the Romans were not trying to kill him.

The Pharisees were trying to put Jesus in a corner so that if he fell foul they the Romans would kill him.

The government. Rome..were a big monitary contributer to the temple as well..hence motivation for BOTH wanting to take JESUS down...the BOTH would earn benefit from Jesus death..

And that was my point.

Religious Leaders of the day.
The religious leaders had an agenda.
The Romans did not.
Jesus appointed time to die was in Gods hands.

Not heard that before.
Why would Rome want Jesus dead if he said "Pay your taxes?

What benefit would that be to Rome?

The minute the romans heard that Jesus professed to be KING OF THE JEWS..big threat..the Jews were the Romans bread n butter...work force...but yes..Jesus death timing was completely in Gods hands...

Ummmmm, not hardly........and I have never been a member of a church that taught

a. A man is the vicar of God and speaks for God
b. Mary can intercede on our behalf and has pull with JESUS
c. To worship bone fragments, hair, teeth and statues
d. That one must do the 7 sacraments to be saved or a member of the Catholic church
e. That men can absolve sin
f. That one can buy the right to sin (indulgences)
g. etc...

NAY my friend....they are NOT one of the 7 churches that JESUS walks around in and to even imply this is to totally yank Revelation out of context and misapply the word of God....and even deeper than that...the Catholic church is pagan, worships a god that we do not worship and is as false as they come...

HOWEVER....I do believe there re SOME Catholics that have seen the truth and are saved, but make no mistake...Catholic dogma will take people straight to hell....it is a false religion at it's core.
What you do NOT KNOW is the Catholic Catechism DEFINES the Church BELIEVE, so Priests and Bishops drug in all kinds of false beliefs, that ARE NOT IN THE CATECHISM. Like I said they may be Borderline, but they DEFINITELY are not a psuedo-christian cult. YES, they have members that worship Mary, but that is NOT WHAT THE CHURCH TEACHES.

I had a VERY LONG discussion with the first Born Again Priests, that I met at a steak house, and we sat there in that both for almost 3 hours. At one point in the discussion I asked "Why do you encourage people to pray to Mary and the Saints? Do you know that several Catholics think Mary is going to answer that prayer?" He said, "I know that is true, but THAT IS NOT WAY WE WERE TAUGHT IN SEMINARY. We have done a very poor job of teaching that truth from the Pulpit, and I guess we might force people to leave the Church. So first answer me, do you believe in asking a Christian Brother to pray for you?" I said yes, and I believe it tells us to in the Book of James. The he said, "Yes, but where do you find a verse that tells you to STOP asking that brother to pray for you, when he dies? You see, in seminary, we are taught that praying to Mary and the Saints is a form of intercessory prayer, and that is ALL IT IS."

So, I had to agree, they have done a VERY POOR JOB OF TEACHING THAT FROM THE PULPIT.

That is why once I had a COMPUTER, I went to the VATICAN'S Copy of the Catholic Catechism; I looked up what the CHURCHES POSITION REALLY WAS ON THOSE SEVEN COMMON BELIEFS STATEMENTS, because MANY opinions of what the Churches Position is, were JUST RUMORS.

By the way, YOU surely do believe that the Seven Letters to the Churches were REAL CHURCHES, AND Represents the TYPE of CHURCHES in throughout the Church Age? Notice ONLY TWO of the Seven were Churches that CHRIST had NO CONDEMNATION FOR. Those are the Philadelphia Church which was mission oriented the last AGE, and the Persecuted Church at Smyrna. ALL OF THE OTHER CHURCHES, CHRIST HAS SOMEWHAT AGAINST THEM. Each Church was also the DOMINATE CHURCH that was in the majority for a large number of years throughout the Church Age. AND they were LISTED in the EXACT ORDER THAT THEY BECAME DOMINATE. Now we are almost through the Laodecian AGE, the CHURCH THAT WAS LUKE WARM, and CHRIST said HE WAS ABOUT TO VOMIT IT OUT OF HIS MOUTH. Believe me, that is WORSE than the Catholics. IF I WAS TO GUESS, the Church at PERGAMUM, would be the TYPE of CHURCH that the CATHOLIC CHURCH would be.

Revelation 2:12-16 (HCSB)
12 “Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum: “The One who has the sharp, double-edged sword says:
13 I know where you live—where Satan’s throne is! And you are holding on to My name and did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness who was killed among you, where Satan lives.
14 But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
15 In the same way, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16
Therefore repent! Otherwise, I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Now NOTICE VERSE 15. I did a search for the teachings of the Nicolaitans, and hear is what I found:

. . .
In its ecclesiastical setting, Nicolaitans means the bishops and prelates of the Church have gained a triumphal victory or conquest over the laity. Members are compelled and forced to submit to the arbitrary dominion of men who have become that thing which the Eternal hates. The Apostle Peter warned that those who were leaders among God's people were NOT to dominate over the faith of others but rather exhort them to do right (1Peter 5:1 - 3).

The teachings and preaching of this group is also variously defined as a hierarchy, the power of dominion, or as the establishment of a government by ecclesiastical rulers.

The teachings of the Nicolaitans reared its head in one of the decisions arrived at during the Catholic Church's Council of Trent, held between 1545 and 1563. They stated, "If anyone shall say that there is not in the Catholic Church a hierarchy established by the divine ordination, consisting of bishops, presbyters and ministers, let him be anathema." The entire top-down structure of the Catholics, as well as many other churches and denominations, owes its survival to maintaining what the Nicolaitans taught.

The doctrine of the Nicolaitans is the teaching that there is a strict hierarchy within God's church that must be respected by all. Ranks and levels are created in order to maintain power and control so that, ultimately, the lowest level of the church (the members) can be ruled over and taken advantage of at any time. The whole system feeds on competition and strife among those who consider themselves Christians.
