A poem dedicated to Stephanie's dad who passed away this morning.

In the warmth of the early morn a soul has found rest, going to the one place that is the best. For long the journey has been and great has the suffering been within but today in death it is grace that gains the win. It is wise to remember that death is not the end for it is only the beginning, for now in his kingdom there will only be praise and singing. Now dressed in royal robes and crowned with honor this brave and wonderful soul shall drink the vast rewards from the kingdoms bowl. In life he was a good father and alas now is to be fathered, for his kingdom come and his will be done and his joy today has received his precious son.

How proud the king must be and how great must the shouts in heaven sound, how lovely must be angels songs and how thunderous must the trumpets abound. For how joyous the father is for his child to come home at last, as he walks down the royal halls with it's splendor vast. He fought the good fight and gave it his all he raised a wonderful family and stood up tall, the cancer may think it has won but look where he lays now that it's all said and done. Not the dirt of the earth or the gloom of the grave but in bed fit for a king in the halls of the brave, mourn for the living not the dead for in his kingdom not a single tear is shed.

I am sorry that I could not get to know him very well and I could not do anything to ease his suffering and his pain even with all my prayers, I sometimes would even become furious with God in my prayers crying out in anger why he wouldn't heal him or at the very least ease his and families suffering but in the end I always will trust God in his decision. At the very least I am grateful that he is finally home and no longer suffering and I vow to become the kind of man that God, Stephanie and her dad deserve even if it takes me my entire life. When Stephanie and I become married I pray that her dad in heaven will have tears of joy seeing his little girl being married and I pray that I would on that day become a man that would be deserving of his blessing to do so.
It appears, every time you get up to bat, you hit a home run! Well done, Blain!

It is God's gift of words in you that minister to our souls, as music does. Your words have melody and penetrate the soul, not just the mind.

Peace to you and Steph, at this time. Keep in mind, time is not over yet. A reunion awaits.................:)

Long has it been on this weary road, a path I did not mean to traverse yet was set upon without my consent. Is it the enemy? Is it my own doing? or is it the king refining? I know not the answer why I must endure this the darkest night of my storm. For the storm I must face and walk through is that of my worst kind, the one I despise and fear the most yet seems to be the most common. I feel a kindred spirit with the prodigal son who lost his way from his home, yet unlike his my way home is not so simple. I cry from deep inside to be spared this treacherous journey that my feet have been placed upon, I call to the Lord to have mercy and let me finally break through the clouds of my misery yet hear not even the whispers of the wind, my soul weakens and mourns painfully as I stand in front of the gates. The gates of my beloved and my home whom in my storm I feel so far way from, so close yet so out of reach.

I cry for mercy and relief and beg to come home yet the gates do not budge, hold myself in in my tears and my anguish yet he seems to hear not and comfort does not wrap itself over me like a blanket enveloping. to the average eye I appear happy and fine like life continues to go on but inside in my true self and in my deepest core the image that is painted in these words are truth. For the inner wounds and bleeding's that I bear whether by the enemy, by my own doing or by the refining that the king might encourage me to endure are almost more than I can bear. Almost as if by clarity however I realize how many of his children go through these things, the pain, the hurt, the tears, the need to be held by his comfort and to be embraced by his arms just begging for a little relief and peace a sense of home in the heart.

Yet ever seeking and ever waiting as I stand in front of the gates even as my hope and strength seemingly about to blow out as that of flame on a candle I hold on to the hope and the truth that was burned into my very being by his hand. With the last beat of my heart and with the last breath that I may breath in the rough of this storm that overtakes me I look to the sky as if by instinct as if my body reacts to what my heart already knows and feels inside. My redemption draws near and he will come in the clouds, It is not by vision or dreams nor by a word of prophecy that my heart knows this but by the bond and the love that synchronizes between our two hearts. Though we are of two different worlds and separated by two separate planes of existence there exists a closeness and a bond that exceeds the limits of time and space, of flesh and spirit.

The tears that have been shed and continue to be shed even now and here, the pain and the bruises, the loss and heartache. All of this have I have I felt and experienced, all of this has many times almost overtaken me. As I in all of this sit in front of the gates awaiting for them-awaiting for him to hear my hearts cries and calls I hear the faintest of a voice speak my name and a vision proceeds it. The vision of what my heart has waited and cried for revealed the opening of the gates not simply opening but bursting open without warning or expectancy. The glory that would flood and pour from inside the gates was more than what words can hope to speak. I in fact would not even attempt to do so for such an attempt would be ridiculously pointless. as if in a split of a second the vision comes and goes and the gates are again closed and locked and I am beside myself in front of them waiting once again.

Do not by any means dear reader think that my pain and uncertainty and my hope for my return home is by any means lessened, for all of this is just as strong in my heart and soul as when I first started this writing, yet by the compelling his leading I write all of this as if a pen I hold in my hand and ink I write on a parchment yet having an invisible hand controlling and guiding my pen do I write this to all who would read and take in what is said. But for those who are as of a kindred spirit as I who long and await for him simply out of love and endearment and for those who would be weary and brought down, who would begin to doubt that he will keep his promise of his returning for his beloveds I pray that you would hold on to the flame of your candle with your every breath and let not the wind of life let it fade. the gates are eager to open and will do so with without expectancy and with a furious rush of his glory.

Blain!!!!! Another masterpiece!!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Sorry it took me months to respond, I've been overwhelmingly busy with family stuff - just wasn't able to get on CC.

This one is full of encouragement. It acknowledges the pain in being "physically" separated, yet "spiritually" connected to Christ and enduring the waiting for His return which will be suddenly - like the gates bursting open with the rush of His glory upon His arrival! Absolutely beautiful!

I really love the phrase at the end of the second paragraph, "....a sense of home in the heart." Communing with God in our hearts gives us the feeling of being home with Him. Excellent choice of words.

Keep writing!

Be silent oh voice of doubt, be still oh image of fear for the darkness calls but the light will answer.
No more shall you pervert his children's thoughts, no longer will you reign sin in their hearts. You who laughs at their failings you who relishes when they stumble and mock their faith will taste the wine of your own doing. Oh how you boast of yourself evil child Oh how far you have fallen from grace in your arrogance and pride.
You claim victory when you have lost long ago, you call them weak blind to the strength that rises against you. A song of victory slowly rises sounding at first as a small whisper from a child but ever grows ringing truer and stronger until it shatters your ears with it's glorious strength. Those who you have persecuted, those who hide under the shelter of our lords wings will be your own undoing and will rise against in his power and authority. They will be his sword against you and will carry his name on their heads, you shall fear the ones who once feared you and your folly will bring you to your knees.

A time is coming and is at the door even now when your grip will loose and the king will ride in triumph his light piercing the ebony darkness you have attempted to lay as your battle field. Foolish serpent, had you not been so arrogant and blind in your own pride you would have seen the ending that befalls you, and you would have seen the lambs you thought were so weak for what they truly were. Just as a wolf in sheep's clothing they are lions in a lambs skin.

The wings of the Lord are upon them and they are prepped for the war that is to come, a war that you cannot win and a war that will be lost by the very hand you yourself denied. You who were the most beloved and treasured who had the highest place in his ranks yet in your blindness slapped the face who loved you and boasted of yourself. The age of man is closing and your reign though short lived will be shattered, war is at hand and draws ever closer and his army is at the ready. The trumpet will sound and all will finally unfold but it will be his children who will the slaughtered nor will your hand touch a single hair on their head, with a holy fire in their eyes and his name upon their heads they will sweep over your demonic forces with the might and glory of the one true God and you will know their names each and everyone of them. You will cringe as you see army after army fall to the kin of our Lord and each of their names will bring terror into the hearts of your dominions.

so relish your time now oh foolish serpent who portays a dragon, for you illusion of strength in the image of a great dragon is but a reflection of your weakness as a snake. The war will come and time is but a millisecond away from the battle cry. The trumpet will sound darkness will fall but the light will answer

For the wounded and broken heart and the small and weak, for those who this world has persecuted and has tormented My words go out to you. I hear your cries and your pain shrieks to my ears, your tears fall into my hands overflowing and your scars tear at my heart. My child I am not unaware of how the world has damaged you, you cry in anguish believing you are alone yet it is my hands that catch your tears. You call out to me in anger and pain believing I do not hear yet without your knowing my arms are all around you.

You do not believe because you do not see you deny because you cannot feel you reject because you cannot hear my voice as you cry out in desperation. Oh my precious child if you would only be still and know that my voice is one of stillness and peace like a gentle steam of glistening waters or the gentle breeze of the oceans winds. My love and my presence has always been with you yet you did not perceive because you did not know how. Seek me out dear child in the calm of the day, be still at night and listen with your heart for my voice will reach you. I am the light that glistens at the horizon at dusk and I am the star that shines at dawn, I am the alpha and I am the omega, I am your comfort and I am your strength.

Seek me out my beloved and your wounds will be mended and healed, Embrace my open arms and you will know the richness of my love and care. The world has not understood you and has filled with you fear and pain sadness and self loathing, it has ripped your heart again and again and has beaten your soul with bruises abound. But my rage will come against all the evil that has dared to harm my small lambs and every wound and every scar will paid back ten fold. I beg of you little lamb do not give up and seek me out for you are destined for greatness and honor, in your meekness I will enrich you with strength you cannot fathom, in your brokenness I will fill you with perfection in your barrenness my love will overflow unending.

Lift you head little one and look in my eyes, wipe your tears and hear my words, I have chosen you to be my warrior and it is you that my glory and honor will reside. You will know and receive my kingship and your light will burst through the darkness with no reservation. You do not see it and you do not know it but it is you who will be my hands and it is you who will walk my steps, for you will also be my tongue and you will be my chosen. Arise and stand believe in me and be strong, let my words penatrate and break through the walls you have built, let my fire burn into your heart and let my spirit pour through the dam of your soul.

Never forget that you are mine and you are loved beyond what you can understand

Through the desert I have long walked, in the cruelty of the harsh sun has my soul thirsted, in the barren of the land has my heart hungered and in the darkness and cold of the night has my body suffered. A promise my heart proclaimed to find him in the darkness yet a promise made I knew not. In the travels of this weary walk with my king suffering and exhaustion is my name, in the time of my suffering and weariness mercy for death is my cry. Was I aware of harshness to come in my hearts proclamation? Did I anticipate the tears and the hopelessness I would endure so severely? Should I have perhaps considered the consequences and the cost of swearing my willingness to walk through the darkness and the fires of hell itself just in order to find him and have him like never before?

To all of these ponders I say nay. For I know my heart and what it speaks, I see the intensity of the hunger and the longing for his own. An oath made in foolishness is foolish indeed and will fail but an oath from the heart one that only knows to speak what is deep inside is not a mere promise or words of valor but prophecy. For after all do we not all know that the treasure so sought after is not one for the half hearted? Do we not know the hunger? can we not feel the parchness? are we blind to the deep longing inside our hearts and souls? The kind would ask of me how far will you go? I answer to him such a silly question for you know. He then would ask of me how much will you suffer? I answer to him to suffer is to love and my love for you is vast. The king would ask of me if you are blind and cannot see will you keep moving forwards? I answer to him Just whose eyes do you think I need to see through?

It is then that an enemy appears as I walk in the path of my oath He would ask of me do you comprehend how long the journey is? How far you will have to walk? I answer to him The distance never mattered to me for my heart only sees him.
weary beaten and struggling to crawl. The enemy would ask of me why do you struggle so? Why do you suffer yourself? I answer to him because there is a light at the end of this tunnel that My heart hungers for, a treasure beyond all things even in heaven itself.

In my long journey nearly completely exhausted almost all hope gone and crying for death from my father the enemy would ask of me can you have reason? do you not see in front of you? there is no ened to the tunnel there is only more darkness and suffering. With the last of my will and the final sap of my strength I look at him and say to him just whose eyes do you think I see through?

Such beautiful words I read at such a time as they are needed. I thank the writer, your words comforted, consoled, encouraged and strengthen me, my friend. I know now why Yeshua/Jesus is acquainted with our pain because He has known suffering and He has promised us our sorrow will turn for joy... I look forward to that day. God bless you, my friend, we shall drink to joy together and celebrate that day... and we shall not be alone..... there shall be many of us......:love::love:

The stillness of the night haunts me, sleep is a dream that I chase. I lay in the darkness that surrounds my sleepless self speaking of great wonders with the king in my hearts inner most voice. Dark and still the night may be but bright and moving is my soul for I relish this season with my beloved and I sing of my devotion to his name. For you o Lord delight in those who delight in you and warm is your smile as my heart pours it's depths into your soul. How I long o father for the world to know this wonder, this moment of consciousness in which two hearts are finally one. My words pirce your heart as your own have pierced mine yet not by the tongue of the flesh but the tongue that resides within.

My love and my cherished one my cup runs over, the stillness is here now as a serene crystal river. the wonder and beauty of the waters in my soul quench my parched and dry soul, unkowing to me my soul was parched as I remember now why I love your waters so. The lips of my soul taste it's sweetness and goodness, the eyes of my soul wonder in the brightness of the crystal hued waters and stare at it's wonder and beauty with awe. The tongue of my soul whispers the greatness of the kings river and longs to soak this tired body in it's waters. to feel the coolness and freshness for my skin to soak in it's it's radiance and life and to stay in it with my king forever more.

But lo and behold my heart begins to ache, it as if a knife has cut deeply in my souls inner heart it bleeds in pain and sadness the loneliness is crying the despair is shrieking a horrendous shriek as if the voice of such soul is so loud that it is as it is my own. I can feel it all as if it were my own and I find myself in tears. I know not who it is or from where it comes from and yet with my entire being I pray to you O Lord. I know not from where this heart cries nor father have I any compass as to who it is but to this weary and lost soul my king I beg for interception I plead for your love and I ask for your waters to overflow this poor hearts cup.

Even a small sip for this parched heart O father will revive their weariness for I can feel their sorrow I can feel the dry and lifelessness of their cries a voice from the deepest depth of their being tears not seen with the eyes but are more vast than the ocean. Give to them my beloved all you have given me and far more, cloath them in the finest linen crown them with a crown of such beauty and royalty give them the love they knew not.
For you know my king how my bursts and shouts for this, My words and tears so desperate that you might rush to their aid and embrace them with you arms. I beg of you father go and embrace them never let them go never again let them know or feel such sorrow and pain.

For you my king know my heart and my reason for this psalm

Your words, your psalms are prophetic and give life to the reader. Thank you for your courage to write and share....I have read your words and smile for I am comforted that all sorrow will turn into joy!

Thank you, blain - I pray also for you.... may ALL your times and seasons of sorrow simply be times and seasons of planting and may your harvest be an abundance of joy that is more than you can contain - a joy that overflows to others just as all your words in your psalms....

God bless Blain - God loves Blain. Amen.(y)

Philemon 1:3-5

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

I make a greeting in love and respect offering only the deepest offering of peace and of the grace of which thee is well embellished and crowned by The king of kings and the Lord of Lords. In his majesty and his glory hath he robed thee and in his light and in his serenity has he bathed thee for it was his greatest pleasure to raise one from the ash and the dirt to crown as royal status. I speak of thee in my prayers day and night ever thanking and praising the king boasting of his works in your heart that he hath done in you. Can I shout to the heavens loud enough my praise of his works? Can I boast enough of thy doings?

For I have heard of thy doings and of thy works, Louder than the Shofar does thy love speak and more precious is thy heart than a still born child. For he hath poured the love that thy Lord and savior hath for all of the fathers children in thee and has done so with great vastness and reverence. Upon his face shines his pride in thee, in the heavens is thy heart praised as thunder. For thee hath taken upon thyself the the scepter of his grace and in great charity hath thee given the love that was bequeath unto thee. Oh How my soul dances and how my heart shouts with joy and thanks to my king for such a one as thee for it brings me such joy to hear of thee and of thy doings and upon the horizon is my expectations and unto the endless sky is thy spirit to soar
So well expressed, thank you.

Absolutely amazing and powerful! So rich and full of vibrant love for God and Stephanie!! Love it! Love it!

You must keep all your writings and publish them somehow! I can only imagine how your writings would sound dramatized in theatrical production in audio books!!!

I pray God would send someone along your path - a divine appointment! Perhaps you could try to make a recording for YouTube!

Keep posting them on CC! I thoroughly enjoy each and every one of them! Blessings for you and Stephanie, always! :)
I couldn't agree more. I also pray this thread gets bumped time and time again. Your heart felt expression needs sharing for edification and stiffing. Please continue.

God Bless you and your heartfelt devotion to our Lord, Blain.

Again thank you for the kind words but I cannot take credit father is the one who inspires me and places the words on my heart to speak I don't think or plan it I just write. This thread was actually inspired because I love the book of psalms I feel such a kinship with David in almost every way he was a writer at heart as well as I and he and I share the same feelings towards God in everyway so I thought I would start my own Psalms I didn't even know I was good at it until a few years ago and my intentions for it is for God to use my gift and speak through me to impact and help the hearts of others.

The earth trembles and dust scatters a great quake has been spoken of, not one of shifting earth but of the voices of joy in the heavens. For lo and behold a great stone has been moved and the Lords glory is revealed.
A great mystery has been shown, a wonder is now revealed. Like the dawn of a new days light the son has risen and as the setting of the evening star death has fallen. Tremble O morning star for your demise in nigh the king has truimphed and taken your reign.
Howl in fury o hades for his chains are severed and his life has triumphed. Was it not foretold? have you not heard? The king of kings is the word of God and the lord himself has spoken, for on the third day as prophesied resurrection would be the days name.

For the father is pleased with the son and the son in him, how the son honors the father with his works and fuldilled promise. No longer will the veil remain intact, no more shall the chains of death have grip. Shout with joy all you nations for a great wonder has come, sing and make the earth tremble all you voices in the heavens for joy and everlasting is here.

Fall all you demons and bow before the Lord for your folly has lost, lift your heads O cherished ones for your sins are no more. We sing our praise in unity as thunder across the heavens, we shout with power in the glory of our Lord. Such beauty and majesty is our king, such power in his humility is our Lord. Can you feel it father? can you hear it our beloved? the voice of our souls shout your honor and glory, our hearts are ablaze in our prases to you our king.

Let our voices shake the very heavens themselves let the songs of our hearts both in heaven and earth deafen every ear, let the fire in our souls sear the hearts of all both saved and lost. For a new day has dawned and a phoenix rises from the ashes, a kingdom is formed a family once separated is unified. The sacredness of the covenant is is without measure, the blood of such purity is the seal.

Blessed is he who was slain and precious is your name everlasting
