The Greek interpretation of the word "SAVE" is "TO DELIVER".

We are redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb of God. Yes this is being saved, but there is the additional impact of theword redeemed because we have been bought by the Blood of the Lamb, aprice no man could ever pay for the ransom of his soul for a soul is very dear.

Yes, if someone is drowning in the ocean, and a rescue boat is sent, and they get the person in the boat and take them to the shore, they delivered them to safety. However, if the person jumps out of the rescue boat, refusing to stay in it, it is then impossible for the rescuer to deliver them to safety. They were saved by getting in the boat, but they must stay saved until they reach the shore. In the same way, Christ's blood saves us, but we must stay saved until we die, we must stay in Christ. The bible says that if you sin willfully there no longer remains a sacrifice for your sins.

What about, John 6: 39, All that he died for, he will not lose even one, and they will all live with him in heaven.

"All that He died for" are those who will remain faithful till the end. These are those He foreknew of before the foundation of the earth.

...so therefore your "boat illustration" is bogus. :)

But I'm sure in your false doctrine you can spin it some more.

well if you place the proof text into context you would not arrive at the pretext you have drawn.

John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Those given to Christ are those from among mankind that respond to the gospel and are drawn by the Holy Spirit to salvation in Christ. Not preselected but saved as the text conveys by believing in Christ according to the word of God.

I noticed that you started quoting from John 6 beginning with verse 30. Back up and read verse 29. Jesus is telling them, the fact that they BELIEVE is THE WORK OF GOD,. The natural man, void of the Spirit, cannot believe spiritual things until THE WORK OF GOD, putting his Spirit within him so that he can believe, and then, and only then, can they respond to the gospel or be drawn by the Holy Spirit, as you have stated in your comment at the last of your quotes.

He did not die for those who would get in the boat yet jump out before arriving on shore- such people do exist.

"All that He died for" are those who will remain faithful till the end. These are those He foreknew of before the foundation of the earth.
This is the foreknowledge of God; Psalms 53:2-3, God looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back, they are altogether become filthy, there is none that doeth good, no not one. Because he knew this by his foreknowledge, is why he choose an elect people before the foundation of the world, Eph 1, and predestined them to be adopted by Christ. Christ paid the adoption price on the cross and the final phase of the adoption is when Christ comes back to take us home.

John 1 still reads the same today.

Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Every man includes every man. Jesus works in every mans heart. Why not let Him work in your heart?

Your interpretation of the scriptures do not harmonize with all scriptures, and you still have not explained, word for word, 1 Cor 2:14. You will never see the big picture of the puzzle if you leave some pieces out.

Yes. The word used for salvation can mean a healing, a temporal help...basically anything to do with preserving life and health. There is a big problem with those who always see this word "sodzo" as meaning an eternal salvation. Lots of confusion there.

I sure agree with that
