Well I’m 50 now.

Now that Miri is 50 years old the B group vitamins in Vegemite will be of benefit to her.
It will help to keep her young and healthy

Happy birthday Miri. You and Jewell are such youngsters. My oldest daughter will be 53 next month. She is young to me!

So many cakes! i like miri's best, altho it doesnt look like anyone would want to slice it=). God bless you, and everyday, miri.

Assuming that’s marmite, have to say I loath marmite. Ha ha

Shush 50 sounds far nicer than half a century. Lol

Well actually, there isn’t a whole lot left.

Here is how I made the cake.

1) Mix the stuff all together and pray it comes out edible.





2) Line the cake tins, then worry in case you haven’t done it right!



3) Pour out the chocolate stuff trying to get it even.




4) Bake...and oh wow it worked. Did that really work or is it my imagination!




5) Cheat time, use Betty Crockers ready made fudge mix to sandwich the
cake together and spread it on the top. Try not to eat it all, save some for the cake! Lol



6) Buy all the decorations under the sun, including some edible glitter spray.
Just pretend you are a big kid and splodge it everywhere. The kitchen work top
turned a nice shade of gold too!

Is it meat, veggies or both? If you put some on a toasted muffin with a slice of tomato and some cheese could it be reminissent of an Australian style mini pizza?

It looks and tastes like the sort of stuff you treat wooden fences with! Lol

I was thinking more like anchovie paste but I never tasted it.

it is brewer's yeast extract - sort of like Promite or Marmite or Ozmite …
but much much more saltier.
Spread generously on buttered toast then add sliced tomato, topped with cheese.
Pop in under a griller or sandwich toaster and there you have it:
the food of the gods.

The perfect accompaniment to birthday cake.
