I have an idea and if you are onboard we can do this together...

Let us take a wide eyed look at this beautiful scripture:

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB

Now, first of all, it is so comforting in its timeless applicability, right?! Very cleary, in the "all" and the "always", we see that it isn't only sometimes, and it isn't depending on anything, it is ALL encompassing. Do we agree on this aspect of this particular passage? Do we also agree that He is able, that He is sufficient, ALWAYS?

I do. Infact, I rely on His sufficiency to fill in the gaps of my moments of insufficiency. He not only brings us to a state of enough, but, by golly, He does so abundantly. He doesn't only want us to be enough to simply get ourselves through this life; He wants us bubbling over with His sufficiency, to use our fullness to help others.

So are you feeling weary or uninspired in anyway, for any reason? Might we all reflect on this assurance, He is able, and He is invested in our ability to be as well. He is sovereign so that we can be accountable to a life-giving, purpose-driven experience in Him. Don't you find that empowering, doesn't it drive you to rest in Him, while putting action into our lives.

Let's drink our water, go for a walk, do some stretching, get good rest, choose healthier food, make time for fellowship, laugh, get out in nature, read the word, and be so grateful because God is able to make us able. I'm not talking about sinless perfection, about living so structured and harmoniously balanced in all ways, all the time. No, we don't have to strive. In fact ...

Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalms 46:10 NASB

Instead of being unmotivated to work, however, we can be excited that we can be of service, that we can choose to take precious care of others and of ourselves. If we feel totally beaten down, we can be encouraged, knowing again that we can rest in His sufficiency, waiting on Him to sustain us once again.

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB

He promises to satiate the weary soul, and to replenish the sorrowful. He is the rock with which to lean on. If we keep Him before us at all times, which we can because we can do all things through Him, our hearts can be glad, our glory rejoice, and our flesh also able to rest in hope:

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
Jeremiah 31:25 KJV

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 KJV

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Psalms 16:8‭-‬9 KJV

Thank you for reading. His words brought sunshine to my soul. Oh how edifying and fun it is to meditate on His words.

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16 KJV

I love you all. I pray, in Jesus Name, you and yours are well!!
