Happy Tuesday afternoon!

F.Y.I.

If anyone is stressing over the cost of Internet, Spectrum has a new Program called Internet Assistance for Seniors who are low income/on Social Security. For just $15.00 a month you can get internet.

I ordered it, and went to the Store and picked up my equipment today and hooked it up myself, and it is working great! As good as any service I have had before.

Hope this is helpful to someone.......

God bless

On a couple of other Threads, I spoke about the carnal and spiritual believers, and what Paul taught about them. As I was thinking further on these.......and reading Colossians, I realized that in several places Paul expanded or clarified his thoughts about these two. In the 3rd Chapter, Paul speaks of what believers SHOULD be focused on.......and new believers...who are yet carnal and not able to feast on the meat of the Word should focus on to grow and mature to become spiritual believers......

1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

By setting our "affections" on heavenly things, we turn away from earthly desires and, in that way, grow stronger spiritually in my opinion. We grow and mature and come to feast on the depth of His Word.

I thought about there being two people inside of me. The carnal believer and the spiritual believer, and these two are struggling to be the most important person in my life walk with Christ.

Which will win out? THE ONE I FEED!

If I spend my time focusing on and desiring earthly things, the carnal believer will be the strongest influence on my life walk, and my views of His Word will be from that view. The earthly view.

If I spend my time focusing on things from above, where Christ is, then the spiritual believer will become the strongest influence on my life.......and the stronger it becomes, the more I will mature in my life walk with Christ......

Feeding the spiritual would seem to be immersing myself in His Word, walking obedient to His will for me, and striving to life a Christ like life.

We all have a choice as to which we will feed...........

Has anyone ever eaten at Lambert’s Cafe? Wow! Talk about a lot of food and it’s good! I had chicken and dumplings and they came by with fried okra, fried potatoes, black eyed peas and to top it off, they threw large rolls to from across the room and came by with molasses to put on them. :D

I don't appreciate how one of the moderators locked one of my threads and I'll be leaving this forum.

Todays thought:

Philippians 2:5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 60) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The King that all shall bow to taught us the importance of humility.....
