I think maybe the name should be changed to bible debate forum, I know they are strong warnings on the content of this forum. Maybe they need to be stronger warnings. I know what your thinking." if you cant take the heat get out" don't go to this site. trust me I don't. My worry I is a new member coming in looking for some place to get a question answered or simple advice they almost always get Hammered. I know I did.. I know a lot of people disagree with me but I bet there is a lot that do. especially new people . Im not asking to change the forum, I love it. I have made it part of my devotion time. People should be able to easily identify where they can go for friendly advice or direction. I spend most of my time in miscellaneous forum. thank you for your time and such a wonderful forum to share GODs love.

Changes to the forum are very rare. And the endless string of complaints about that section are basically ignored. Don't expect anything to happen.
Besides calling it a debate forum may attract more non-Christians to come here and debate. And while they are welcome to join it has been repeated that they do not want to encourage debate. The site is intended for fellowship.

Even when you give someone a friendly advice it will not be seen as such, because some people only want others to agree with them.

It seems that every Christian has a different belief! Oh my and it's just the one word of God. But the interpretations and attitudes to it are numerous! See there will always be a debate.

I try not to debate though, because no one will come out the winner. I will hold on to what I believe, and the other person will hang on tight to what they believe. It's just pointless.

It is pointless. But it's also the most active section on the forums so its here to stay.
I've been a member since 2011 and it's been this way the whole time.
