I was down the road at a family members house, and got home at just the right time. I made it home just before the storm set in, heavy rain with thunder and lighting. My lights flicker once but didn't fully lose power. My yard looked like a pond with water standing, from the fast down pour. The storm has now passed and the water in my yard has all disappeared. God was there with me guiding me through the storm.

Psalm 107:29-30
29 He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea[a] were hushed.
30 They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.

Amen, God works in mysterious ways, I like that verse and your testamony was quite fitting indeed.
thanks for sharing.

Psalm 32:4-8, “For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My sap was turned into the droughts of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to You, And my crookedness I did not hide. I have said, “I confess my transgressions to יהוה,” And You forgave the crookedness of my sin. Selah. Therefore, let every kind one pray to You While You might be found; Even in a flood of great waters They would not reach him. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from distress; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Let Me instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; Let Me counsel, My eye be on you.”

oh yes, when we feel and know that the storm is coming full force, we dig deep and begin to pray
that our Heavenly Father will spare us and others, but of course, we have to stand strong and accept
what ever comes our way -

but our Prayers and Faith will sustain us through ALL that befalls us...
this is our assurance that our Faith is REAL and can carry us through it all...
