I recently read the guidelines for this part of the forum, and I understand lyrics that glorify sin are not permitted. However, are there any rules for secular music that doesn't actually have lyrics at all (orchestral/instrumental, for example)? Or, should I only offer worship music here?

Should be ok, if you look around there are sec songs being posted. I like a wide range of music from Christian to secular with a positive message, here's a example "accept" "no shelter" basically saying there will be no shelter for the devil the days of his rign will come to a end.

It doesn't say "no secular music". It says no music that promotes sin. You can pretty much use common sense to know what that means.

That is all very well, but the last time I contacted someone (on a dating site, no less), it felt like walking on eggshells to meet what I thought were her very exacting standards for music. This happened despite her never openly protesting what I sent her, so I'm just hoping to do this correctly.

That aside, here is a small stack for everyone's scrutiny:

Well the policy i have is to imagine sitting down with Jesus and playing the song and listening to it with Jesus beside me..

So if i listen to a song and feel that i could play it to Jesus then i will post it on CC...

Now if a Moderator feels uncomfortable with my song being on CC then the video will be removed..

But i don't recall any of my music video's being removed.. So my policy seems to have been a 100% success :)

So i advise to sit back and listen to the lyrics of the song closely because it will be in the lyrics where any anti-Christian or sin promoting will be identified..

I cannot see why music with no song would be censored.. Unless that is if the video's visuals are showing immorality..

There was a movie sometime ago called somewhere in time, with Christopher Reeves. I liked the theme song in that movie and the movie as well.
