Jesus predicted that Israel would accept the "man of sin" as their Messiah. He said concerning this:

"I am come in My Father's Name, and you receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive (John 5:43).

Israel you say? The entire world......He will show up in Jerusalem...........but the world will be deceived by him; that is to say, those of the world who have been given to believe lies .

Now you why they have elected to believe lies. The answer is simple, they previously chose to love evil, unlike those who have chosen Jesus Christ....

Hello Message,

Because Israel didn't recognize Jesus as their Messiah and so they are still waiting for their Messiah to appear for the first time. Therefore, when this man of lawlessness/antichrist appears and survives a fatal wound and has a false prophet performing miracles, signs and wonders on his behalf, they will receive him as Messiah right up until he causes the sacrifices and offerings to cease and sets up that abomination in the holy place. According to Rev.12:6, 14, the remnant will flee out into the desert to the place that God will have prepared for them, where they will be protect during that last 3 1/2 years.

The problem with this view is that sacrifices and offerings have already ceased.

Since Israel (by and large) rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as their true Messiah, Orthodox Jews today continue to wait for their *Messiah*. So when the Antichrist appears he will present himself to the Jews as their true Messiah and God, and they will believe it because "they loved not the truth". Therefore the Antichrist must be a renegade Jew who is able to enter into the future temple and make his preposterous claims.

The problem with this view is that there is only one temple - church.

No physical building will be the temple of God. Any possible temple built in Israel will be just a fake.

Those who believe Jesus Christ will always be the Israel of God looking forward to the New Jerusalem to be brought down and placed by our King.

The true Israel is comprised of the believing of the original flock and those who came to believe of the other.............

The problem with this view is that sacrifices and offerings have already ceased.
There is no problem with this at all. Seventy seven year periods were decreed upon Israel as described in Daniel 9:24-27 and only sixty nine of those sevens have been fulfilled. The last seven years are to be fulfilled in conjunction to the Lord's return to end the age. After the Messiah was cut off, which was Christ crucified, at the end of the sixty ninth seven, God paused that last seven period and began to build His church, which is still in the process of being built. Once the church is completed, the Lord will descend from heaven and gather His church in the air and take us back to the Father's house. Following that, the antichrist will establish his covenant with Israel initiating that last seven years.

Your error Trofimus, is not recognizing that God has unfinished business with Israel regarding that decree, as well as other promises. Because they did not recognize Jesus as their Messiah, they are still waiting for their Messiah to show up for the first time. Therefore, when the antichrist shows up, they will believe him to be their long awaited Messiah, that is until he causes the sacrifices and offerings to cease and sets up that abomination, events which have not yet been fulfilled.

Israel and the church are two different dispensations and God has unfinished business pertaining to Israel, the law and promises made to them, as well the need for the following to be fulfilled:

"Seventy weeks (weeks of years) are decreed for your people and your holy city to stop their transgression, to put an end to sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place."

No physical building will be the temple of God. Any possible temple built in Israel will be just a fake.
Since one seven year period remains, once the church has been gathered, God will pick up right where He left off with Israel complete with temple and sacrifices. Regarding the temple, if you will visit the web-site "The Temple Institute" you will see that all of the articles of furniture for the temple have all been prepared. The Sanhedrin has been reconvened for many years now and they have been teaching their priest to sacrifice according to the law given to Moses. The priests clothing have all been prepared according to scripture, with the ephod and the twelve stones representing each tribe of Israel. Everything is in place. When God's time comes, the church will be gathered and then the focus will shift to the fulfillment of God's word regarding Israel.

During that last seven years God will also being pouring out His wrath upon a Christ rejecting world via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments, which will be the fulfillment of the Rock falling on the feet of the statute and smashing it to pieces without leaving a trace, the end of all human government and the establishment of the Lord's millennial kingdom.

I know your specific view/theology about this.

I just do not think its correct. I do not think your interpretation of Daniel is correct, I do not think your view of rapture is correct and I do not think your eschatology as such is correct :)

Well then, just wait and you will see it fulfilled just as it is written.

The next event will be the gathering of the church. After that the revealing of that antichrist and his establishment of that last seven year period, who will make it possible for Israel to build her temple and fulfill that last seven years, with the Lord returning to the earth to end the age, with the Lord's millennial kingdom to follow.

Or... events will graduate in a different way than what you expect ;-)

Jesus stopped offerings and sacrifices once and for all, as Bible says. Therefore, any theology that counts with offerings and sacrifices in the future cannot be valid.

Some Jews will accept the antichrist, and some Jews will not accept the antichrist.

The Jews who acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior will not accept the antichrist.

And many Jews will not accept the antichrist for he is of the occult, and believes in evolution, and people can still evolve, and does not acknowledge a personal God, but honors the God of forces, or the power of nature as his higher power, which he will claim to have harnessed the power of nature and obtained power, evolved, and will share this power with all people that follow him.

So many Jews will not accept the antichrist for they accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and many believe in a personal God whether they accept Christ or not.

The Jews are protected from physical attack by the beast for the 7 years period for God has a plan to restore the kingdom on earth to them.

The Jews will accept the antichrist at the beginning of the 7 years period before he claims to be God more then they will accept him at the beginning of the last three and one half years when he claims to be God.

70 weeks are determined upon the nation of Israel to make an end of sins, and anoint the most holy which is to acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah.

69 weeks have passed with 1 week to go, 7 years, which will be the time that God causes all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom, and when they do He will end this sin business on earth.

The wrath of God is not in the 7 years period for repentance and salvation is still available to the world for the first three and one half years so God will not go against them with His wrath, and the beast has power to rule for the last three and one half years, so God will not go against them with His wrath during that time.

God warns the saints of the new age movement that will lead the world to the beast kingdom, based on the occult, nature worship, witchcraft, evolution, and people can still evolve, and Jesus is not Lord and Savior, but a good teacher in the evolutionary process and love, but not the final teacher, that acknowledge no personal God, but honor the God of forces, or the power of nature as their higher power, and the New Age Christ is the final teacher in the evolutionary process in which they believe he will harness the power of nature, and share this power with all who follow him to cause them to evolve and be greater, and spiritual.

Israel is blinded in part, which they accept the Old Testament for the majority but not the New, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in, which is when salvation is no longer available to them, so all Israel shall be saved, the kingdom restored to them.

Which God said He will make a full end of all Gentile nations, but not make a full end of Israel although they will not be wholly unpunished, and they shall be saved when the beast and the world make war against Israel after the 7 years period which Jesus will save the Jews and defeat the world.

Which Jesus said the Jews will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord when the nation of Israel turns to God.

The man of sin will establish peace in the Middle East and it will pave the way for all Jews to go to Israel, which God said He will bring the whole house of Jacob, all 12 tribes back to Israel, and will not leave them anymore in the nations, and they shall know the LORD their God from that day forward, and He will not hide His face from them anymore, which the man of sin wants them all on their land in one place, but God means it for good towards the Jews.

The Gentiles and the Jews will be separated except for the Palestinians which God said what have you to do with Me messing with My people, so I will put it back on your own head, so gather the world together and let's go to war, the battle of Armageddon.

When the man of sin establishes peace in the Middle East, which is the hindrance to the nations coming together, the nations will come together as they try to establish peace on earth, and the 7 years period will begin.

For the first three and one half years repentance, and salvation is available to the world, and God gives them a chance to turn to Him during that time by way of the 6 trumpets which are warnings to the world to turn to God.

An example is WW1, set up League of Nations, did not turn to God, WW2, set up United Nations, did not turn to God, and that pattern will continue until the 6th trumpet which they do not turn to God, so He gives them the man of sin to rule over them, and he will deceive all people that do not love him to follow the beast.

During the first three and one half years the world will operate by the ten horn kingdom, the world split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, and a unified religious system with all religions interpreted by the new age movement, evolution, and anything preached contrary to that is not tolerated, and a hate crime punishable in the international criminal court system, which is what sparked that war between Islam and the world, although the nations governments come together the people in the Arab nations will say it is an insult to Allah, and will feel they have no other choice but to rebel since they are hindering from spreading their religion, and against their religion.

After the 6th trumpet in which one third of the population dies, which nuclear weapons are used and the man of sin plucks up 3 horns, sections of the world by the roots, which is in the Arab nations, for it is a war between Islam and the world, the world was devastated, and lost hope for there to be peace on earth, and the ten horn kingdom failed at providing peace.

They turn to the man of sin as the solution to have peace on earth, and he gave them hope that there would be peace on earth if they follow him, and he will convince them he harnessed the power of nature and evolved to be greater, and spiritual, which they say who is like unto the beast, and who can make war with him, believing he can establish his kingdom and no foe can stop him, and the deadly would was healed.

The beast has 7 heads, and ten horns, which the 7 heads are the 7 kingdoms on earth, which the Bible says the 8th king, antichrist, is of the 7 kingdoms for the devil influenced those kingdoms, and the ten horns the physical dominion of the beast.

John said concerning the 7 heads that 5 are fallen, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and one is in operation at the time he wrote Revelation, which is the Roman Empire, and one is to come in the future which will continue for only a short space, which is the ten horn kingdom, the world split in to ten sections with a leader in each section, which will rule for the first three and one half years, and then the 8th king the antichrist who will rule for the last three and one half years.

One of the beast's heads was wounded, which is the ten horn kingdom that failed at obtaining peace on earth, and caused the world to lose hope for peace on earth, and the deadly wound was healed, which he restored order, and gave them hope, and the ten horns hand their power over to the beast and that is how he gets control of the world.

He will claim to be the Jews God, and Messiah, in the middle of the 7 years period, and when the world takes the mark of the beast which has to do with technology, for the beast's solution is there is no personal God, but mankind's technology and devices can solve their own problems and have peace on earth, then repentance and salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, and the fulness of the Gentiles has come in.

God will then turn Israel as a nation to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah by way of 2 witnesses that have the power to go against everybody that tries to stop their witnessing, and will turn the nation of Israel to the truth during the last three and one half years, which the nation of Israel will be in the truth at the end of the last three and one half years.

At the end of the 7 years period the wrath of God will be poured upon the world, and the beast and the world will attack Jerusalem, the Jews, and Jesus will come back with all the saints, and save Israel and defeat the world, then the millennial reign will begin.

Continued from above.

Some Jews will accept the antichrist, and some Jews will not accept him, which they will accept him more at the beginning of the 7 years period before he claims to be God, when he establishes peace in the Middle East, and when he claims to be their God and Messiah some will accept him, but many will not accept him for there are Jews that believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and many that believe in a personal God.

Which during the last three and one half years more and more Jews will turn to Jesus until they all turn to Jesus at the end of the last three and one half years, which the 2 witnesses will be killed but resurrect, and a tenth of the holy city shall fall, and 7000 people will be slain because of it and the rest of the Jews will turn to Jesus and Israel as a nation will be in the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

Dan 11:27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Dan 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Dan 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

Dan 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

This is speaking of the Jews during the last three and one half years, for it cannot be speaking of any Gentiles, for the fulness of the Gentiles have come in, and the people that did not love God took the mark of the beast in which salvation is no longer available to the world, so reaching out to Gentiles would do no good.

The Jews will accept the antichrist at the beginning of the 7 years period before he claims to be God, for he is portraying himself as a man of peace, and establishes peace in the Middle East, and it paves the way for all Jews to go to Israel, and have peace, which they will like that.

But at the beginning of the last three and one half years some will accept the New Age Christ, but many will not accept him, for his agenda has sifted from being a man of peace to claiming to be God and can provide peace, which many will not believe him for some accept Jesus, and believe in a personal God even if they do not accept Jesus, and will view him as not being that God.

And the Jews that know the truth shall reach out to the Jews who do not know the truth, which the Bible says they shall reach out to many which would mainly be the ones that believe in a personal God, Jehovah, but do not accept Jesus, and they along with the 2 witnesses will turn Israel to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

Jesus predicted that Israel would accept the "man of sin" as their Messiah. He said concerning this:

"I am come in My Father's Name, and you receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive (John 5:43).
Many of the "prophecy experts" have misinterpreted John 5:43 saying that the anti-Christ would be Jewish and that the Jews would accept him, that incorrect interpretation has misled many.

It appears that in John 5 Jesus is still in the Temple speaking to the Pharisees and Jews who want to kill him. The context isn't about the end-times. He's addressing those who don't believe he's the Messiah and he's simply saying that he has come in his Father's and wasn't received, but if someone else would come in their own name him they would receive. The word IF indicates that the scenario Jesus mentioned is only a possibility and NOT a certainty that it would come to pass.

This is what Strong's say's about the word IF...

a conditional particle (derived from εἰ ἄν), which makes reference to time and to experience, introducing something future, but not determining, before the event, whether it is certainly to take place.

John 5:43 is not speaking of a future anti-Christ that the Jews would accept.

Only Muslim's will accept the anti-Christ who will only reign over the 10/7 alliance of kings and nations in the Arab world.

You are some obsessed with pre-trib.

What are you going to do when the world goes bad and into tribulation, when terrorism is rampant everywhere, and the kingdom of the anti-Christ is forming, AKA an Islamic Caliphate in the Middle-East, Dome of the Rock or Al'aqsa mosque, AND YOU'RE STILL HERE? Are you and your pre-trib mentors going to deny that the events that are passing are NOT the prophesied ones and then fabricate even more stuff to cover up the those pre-trib fallacies? You guys are going to be put on the spot and my suspicion is that you guys will claim that the horrific events we're all enduring are NOT the prophesied ones!

I agreed with some of your other replies, but on the temple I don't. It's not difficult to determine whether the temple is used literally or figuratively. The context easily determines that.

I'm a futurist but I don't accept Daniel's 70th week as a future event but believe it was fulfilled at Christ first advent. That passage has misled many.

I do not think its possible to have again a Jewish temple with valid offerings and sacrifices after the Old Testament was set aside, after this shadows were done and after levitical priesthood has ended.

There is no theological base, no covenant for any temple to be a valid temple of God with sacrifices and offerings. The Old one was replaced by the New one. You would need to say it will be switched again in the future and the Old one (shadows) will be valid again.

You are correct. A temple does not have to be rebuilt, and the Jews will not resume any type of sacrificial ceremonies. All the prophecies of the last days will be fulfilled in the Dome of the Rock complex which also houses the Al'Aqsa mosque.

Not really. While the Church is the metaphorical and spiritual temple of God, a third and fourth temple of *bricks and mortars* will be constructed in Jerusalem. Plans are already well under way for the third temple. The fourth temple will be the Millennial temple as described in detail in Ezekiel.

Where do you find in prophecy that another temple needs rebuilding? Is it 2 Thes. 2 and Daniel 9?
