Saying to the sixth angel which had the Trumpet, Loose the four Angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

And the four Angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men (Revelation 9:14-15).

My question is: Are these four evil Angels which are executors of God's wrath that are bound at this time be allowed to kill two thirds of the world population or will this be confined to the old Roman Empire territory?

"I heard the size of their army, which was 200 million mounted troops."
Rev 9:16

Euphrates river flows through Iraq, Syria, Turkey and is very close to Iran.

I very doubt that these countries have power to kill 3 billion of people worldwide by "mounted troops".

I think its more about islamic wars, terrors and attacks through history. Most of fights were with Byzantine empire, Christian western Europe, India, Asia (Pakistan, Afghanistan...), Africa and, of course, with Israel.

But, who knows, maybe islamic countries in the middle east will create some terrible (nuclear?) attack on other parts of the world and then take it by a mass migration.

This would need to be in a distant future. Right now, middle eastern countries cannot measure with European or Chinese military capabilities.

On the other hand, Northern and Southern America are quite safe against "mounted troops" from this area.

Revelation isn't a historical book, and it does have all to do with Islam. The only way to logically understand killing 1/3 of mankind is mainly through nuclear and biological terrorism, which is coming!

Revelation 9 has long been associated with the Arabs and Muslims for several reasons. Locust are figurative of the Arabs in the Old Testament and both scorpions and locust have the Mid-East as their natural habitat, especially in Arabia. In Arabic the word "Arab" and "locust" sound similar. The locust represent ‘the Arabs and Muslims.

Verse 2-3 "And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power."

In Judges 6:5 and 7:12 the Midianites and the Amalekites, who are likely related to the Ishmaelites, are Arab tribes and are associated with grasshoppers or ‘LOCUST.’ Gesenius says that the Midianites are of an Arab nation, and the Amalekites are the descendants of Esau. In Genesis 37:25 the Midianites seem identified with the Ishmaelites. Strong's says Midian or Midianite' = "strife." Nahum says about the Arabs...
"Make thyself many as the locusts." Nah.3:5

The East wind brought the locust in Exodus 10:13 and is associated with 'falsehood, deceit, and evil'.
Exodus 10:13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
Speaking of the Arabs, Judges 6:5 say’s...

"For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it."

Revelation 9:11...
"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."(destroyer)
Destroyer is one of the 99 names of Allah.

"And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire... (suicide vest)
The word for breastplates is the word 'thorax,' and were held by straps that went over the shoulders or around the neck.

1535373497270.png

"...and of jacinth," (dark red)...
From Vines....
Jacinth: signifies "hyacinthine," perhaps primarily having the color of the hyacinth. Some regard its color as that of the martagon lily, a dusky red. According to Swete, the word 'jacinth' in Rev 9:17 is, "doubtless meant to describe the blue smoke of a sulphurous flame."

"...and brimstone:...." sparks and explosion. This is the only place the word 'brimstone' or Strong's #2306 is used in the NT. Strong's #2306 comes from 2303 and says, "in its original sense of "flashing."

"...and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; (Babylonians) and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone."

John even tells us how many jihadist there are in the world when this happens.
In 2006-7 a leading Mid-East expert said there were 300 million jihadist and 400 million Islamic radicals in the world. I thought that number to be a bit high on the jihadist but close on the radicals.
"And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them."
That would be 200 million.

Revelation 9:4-6 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them."

The Koran commands that Muslims who invade other territories to leave the vegetation intact. Another interesting note is that when Muslims did invade other territories they were told not to murder the monks but to leave them alone. This is a curse imposed upon certain jihadist Muslims and this 'hurt' seems to torment Muslims to the point of desiring death but are unable to achieve it. I think this kind of torment is specifically designated for jihadist. It's what they deserve.

Revelation 9:7 "And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men."

Joel chapter one is about locust. Locust look like horses in Joel 2:4. If you look at some of the commentaries, you'll find that some people believe that the head of locust do resemble the heads of horses. The Italians call locust cavalette, as though they are little horses, and the Arabians have forever been famous for their horses and horsemanship.

Joel 2:4-6 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

…"and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men."

Crowns eventually developed into turbans. In the Old Testament they were a piece of cloth tied around the head with a piece of gold or precious stone placed in the middle. Common people couldn't afford the gold or precious stones and just used a piece of cloth. There is an Arabian proverb that says the Arabs should use turbans instead of diadems or 'crowns'.

"Revelation 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions."

Faces of men? The most distinguishing features of a man's face as opposed to a woman's face is a beard. The most distinguishing feature of a woman's face is her hair. What do ISIS fighters look like? Nearly all of them have long hair and a beard. Dead or alive they look the same.

1 Corinthians 11:14-15 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him. But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

1535373883574.png
Teeth of lions?
The lion is symbolic of the Arabs and Babylon. Teeth are symbolic of ferocity and to devour and consume.

Revelation 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
Centuries ago, most warriors wore breastplates to protect themselves. Arab fighters also wore some type of 'breastplate'. Today we call them "bullet proof vest." We found out that most suicide bombers today wear one during an attack.

Strange also is that because of jihadist groups like Al'qaeda and ISIS, millions of people have fled the region and have scattered across the planet, many of whom ARE jihadist.

Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Lucifer's name is used once in the bible in Isaiah 14. In the Greek New Testament, his name isn't found but implied in the word Apollyon and Abaddon. Abu bakr al-baghdadi is ISIL'S human 'king,' and Lucifer is Baghdadi's king. To have the 'key' means to have the authority. Strong's says Abaddon is, "destruction and, the name of the angel-prince of the infernal regions, the minister of death and the author of havoc on the earth." About Apollyon he says, "the angel of the bottomless pit, the Destroyer." Destroyer happens to be one of Allah's 99 names. This fallen angel could be Lucifer or another fallen angel.

I never think of the angels in Revelation as being evil.

You beat me to it - Why would one assume them to be inherently evil?

The main reason I point this out is simple. This type of resoning could lead the intllectual to believe whe our Father returns and does what He must do, He will also be deemed as evil.

We, as believing and children of the most High God, know well that upon the eternal establishment of the Kingdom all causes of sorrow, pain, suffering oppression and more will dissolve in the fire to come. Nothing will remain but gladness and joy and eternal praise of our Maker. Much more of course, but my human cpabilities are far short of understanding all of the wonder our Father has stored for us.

Praise God, and may all of His servants be blessed in the works He gies them, even if it seems not good to the intellectuals.

Good day Message,

Just a correction, these four angels are released to kill a third of mankind, not two thirds. Also, that they are bound demonstrates that they are not holy angels, but fallen. Since it is stated that they along with their demonic army of 200 million have been prepared to kill a third of the inhabitants of the earth, it would then be a third of the entire earth. Otherwise, if it was just a third of the old Roman Empire territory, it would not be a third of the earth.

Also, the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments will all take place in chronological order. Trumpets 5, 6 and 7 are referred to as "woes" which follow one after another. As one way to support this, after the results of the 5th trumpet scripture says, "The first woe has passed. Behold, two woes are still to follow. Likewise, after the results of the 6th trumpet scripture states the following "The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly. All that said, the world would have had to have seen the results of all of the seals and trumpets 1 thru 5, in order for the 6th trumpet to be referring to the old Roman Empire.

These events are to take place in conjunction with the last seven years leading up to the Lord's return to the earth to end the age. We have no record of demonic beings resembling locusts coming up out of the Abyss and tormenting people with stings like that of a scorpion, which would have take place prior to the 6th trumpet. The result of the first trumpet will be a third of the earth and the trees being burned up. The results of the 2nd trumpet will be a third of the creatures in the oceans being killed and a third of all the ships being destroyed as a result of that object hitting in one of the oceans of the earth. The results of the 3rd trumpet will be a third of the rivers and springs of waters being contaminated by that object that falls on them, with many people dying from drinking the waters. The world has not experienced any of these events and that because they are still future and will take place after the church has been removed.

At the sounding of the 5th trumpet, a star which actually an angel, opens the Abyss releasing all of those demonic being resembling locusts with tails and stings like scorpions to torment the inhabitants of the earth for 5 months. For that point on the Abyss remains open until the Lord returns to the earth to end the age. At that time Satan is thrown into the Abyss where it is then locked back up. Regarding that army of 200 million which the four evil angels gather, I believe that they assemble them from the Abyss that will have previously been opened. Rev.9:14 states that these demonic beings that torment with the stings of scorpions have a king over them which is the angel of the Abyss. I believe that these 200 million come from there also.

Remember, these angels were bound at the great river Euphrates for the specific purpose of killing a third of mankind, not angels getting men to kill other men, but angels killing men. Therefore, I believe that there army of 200 million are other fallen angels, i.e. demonic beings from the Abyss.

In further support that this army of 200 million are no men, What army on the earth do you know of who has horses with fire, smoke and sulfur that issues from their mouths and by which a third of mankind will killed?

I personally believe that the reason why trumpets 5, 6 and 7 are referred to as woes, is because they are all demonic plagues.

No wonder you ignore everything that I tell you, for you symbolized and misinterpret the events of God's wrath. Be assured that the results of the events of the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments will take place just as they are written.

The book of Revelation is not about Islam, but about God's wrath upon a Christ rejecting world, as well as to fulfill that last seven years regarding the decree upon Israel and Jerusalem.

Your information regarding Islam comes from the false teachings of men. I have encountered the same teachings that you are posting here before. They claim that that the headbands that Muslims wear as representing the mark of the beast, which is ridiculous. All you have done is adopted a known false teaching.

Lol, do you really believe that its literal, that its really about real animals - horses with fire from their mouths? :D
No, its about tanks. Do not read Revelation like some kind of Hollywood class B horror movie.

Still the fact stands that sacrifices and offerings and temple are already done, its not a future thing. Its done theologically (Christ) and practically (Roman army). Jews can rebuilt what soldiers destroyed, but they cannot undo what Christ has done.

“THE SIXTH TRUMPET / Revelation 9

13 And the sixth Angel sounded (this is the second “woe”), and I heard a voice from the four horns of the Golden Altar which is before God (this is the “Altar of Incense”; the “voice” is probably that of the same Angel who came and stood at the Altar, and had much Incense [6:9; 8:3]),

14 Saying to the sixth Angel which had the Trumpet, Loose the four Angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. (These are evil Angels, hence previously “bound.” The river “Euphrates” signals the area. It is where it all began, it is where it will all end, and it is being prepared even now.)

15 And the four Angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. (These four Angels are not to be confused with the four Angels of Rev. 7:1. Those are Righteous Angels, while these four are evil. They are executors of God’s wrath. Once again, this Judgment will be mostly confined to the old Roman Empire territory.)

“16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand (200 million): and I heard the number of them. (This is not symbolic of a human army, but rather demon spirits, which, as well, will be invisible.)

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision (demon horses), and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. (All of this presents demon spirits riding demon horses.)

18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. (Quite possibly, over three hundred million people will die as a result of this particular plague. Whatever they think to be the cause, the actual cause will be what is described here.)

“19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. (Once again, we are here given a glimpse into the spirit world. That’s the reason Paul said we “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” [Eph. 6:12]. As well, that is why all efforts to oppose such are fruitless, other than Christ and the Cross.)”
