What I have read so far from him sounds very interesting. I disagree with him on the believer's security (he believed in loss of salvation), but the rest sounded pretty interesting.

He was a great circuit preacher and many souls came to Christ through his preaching. The Methodist church has long abandoned his soteriology and gone modern but by and large he preached sound gospel doctrine.

Wasn't Wesley pro Armenian? Not calvinist. I'm neither so I not exactly sure what the difference is any more but I don't care.

Holiness was the main message he preached. As did John Calvin

I have a respect for Wesley because he really really put his heart and soul into sharing Yah's Word. No person has every doctrine 100% right, but he definitly was a seeker and a servant...

I looked it up online and got conflicting answers. I thought he was an early evangelical, so when it got slow here I checked but there was no clear doctrinal stance I could find in a paragraph.

LOL! So am I! Neither Calvinist nor an Armenian - I just believe the Bible!

John Wesley was a godly dedicated man with a big heart for God.

holiness movement
Nothing wrong with holiness. Holiness at one time was associated with the Pentecostal movement. Sadly it is not so today as worldliness has over run the church on every side.

Amen, of course there were teachings of him that were flawed and a bit legalistic, but overall he was way closer to the truth than John Calvin

Depends, some of the things he taught on holiness were indeed incorrect and rather legalistic than holy. Of course we need to be careful about worldliness.
