Wonder how the workers for, Cainologists and Lawyers will feel on the day they beg to enter based upon their works.....

Many will come before me in that day saying, "Lord, Lord have qe not done many wonderful works in your name......."

They call him Lord and push their works as proof of their right to enter<--same peddled dogma push by workers for, Cainologists and Lawyers....

Why is it so hard to understand that faith alone into the work of Christ is what saves a man and when one embellishes faith with works they void the gospel......!!

Sounds like my mom and dads story only mom passed on first, everything they worked for went back to the bank, one million just in properties, sad to watch it all happening.
It again shows how life can change on a dime! ;( sorry bout your mom!

Hi Jewel, both mom and dad passed on without Christ in their heart. My mom believed there is a God but that Jesus was a fictional story. My dad was an atheist/agnostic, he always said there is no God but maybe there could be.

I honored both mom and dad the best I knew how but they were both antagonistic toward the gospel. Personally it is difficult and sad for me to even imagine how anyone can depart this world without first believing in the Savior of the World.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. So what is the responsibility of the children of unsaved parents. God say's that we should "Obey" your mother and father. I think it would be honoring to use our life as an example and let your parents hear the word of God whenever or wherever it is possible.

Everybody will be judge by God; unbelievers according to their works, and true believers will be judge for
rewards whether good or bad
.

God bless!

2Corinthians5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Exodus20:12
"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you."

I truly believe that when we stand before God to be judged, that He will give us one last chance to repent and come to Him. He wouldn't be a just and fair God if He didn't allow us that courtesy...

Hi Ladyblue, yes it would be wonderful to have one last chance but there are many Christians who would argue the point with you....:)

Remember our parents taught us, "it is better to give than receive", is that in the bible...I think not but I will check my concordance....:)

Psalm50:10
for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.
Nope, mine didn't. Stick to your own kind, stay in your own class, help your self first give others the left overs is what I was taught. It had the opposite effect. I respect people more that go against what they were taught. If I didn't, I'd still be on the way to hell.

Please remember brothers and sisters it's up to God alone. He made the rules, he enforces the rules and only he may make exceptions to the rules but, he CAN make exception to the rules. He doesn't need permission.

I don't want to derail Dcon's thread but, we ARE ALL going to die with some unrepented sin. All of us. I don't pay attention to New Age stuff, but it seems to me that God wouldn't be a just God if He didn't allow one last opportunity to repent. Who's to say that when He judges us, He won't first say "(enter name here), do you repent of all your sin"? :)I highly doubt that people who are murdered, killed in accidents, die in their sleep, etc etc, won't be given an opportunity to confess and repent their sins before being judged.

Didn't say anyone did, It was a reminder. People often try and bring God down to our level to which the Bible the Bible was written. ^It was written for us, not him so don't get it twisted.

^ this part was not directed at you @blue_ladybug.

It is true that God can (and sometimes does) 'bend' the rules - but He will never violate anything that would go against the Word of God . . . so he won't allow anyone to slip into heaven by any other path than that has been laid.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

By the way, the book of John goes hand-in-glove with Paul's writings as to the doctrine of salvation? Why? Because the book of John was written after Paul wrote the epistles and John understood that which Matthew, Mark and Luke had no concept of when they wrote their gospels.

Hi Bluelady, Jesus died for all of our sin's, past present and future. Not only that but Jesus died for sins that we may have forgotten. When we have communion at our Church we confess our sins, "Covert and Overt sins."

When we die and go home to be with Jesus there are no "left over sins", or sins not repented of. All of our sins have been forgiven. This is basic to Christian doctrine. There are no sinners in Heaven, otherwise no one will make it to heaven and you cannot "merit" your way into heaven.

I mean what if someone is in a coma after and accident and the cannot confess their sin. The idea is just silly because if you are a true Christian "all" of your sins are forgiven, "overt and covert" sins. Past present and future sins or even sins we may have forgotten to confess, covert sins.

By your definition of sin, unrepented sin, no one would go to heaven. I hope this makes sense to you.

Isaiah1:18
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Hebrews8:12
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

1Peter2:24
"He himself bore our sins"
in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

I agree with almost everting you said but the woks=salvation folks who come here wont and if they had the faith to come to the lord they won't be damned for their mistaken beliefs. Once saved always saved over rules bad doctrine.

Wise men see evil coming.....I do not buy the imminent return of Christ and why I wrote the book...the bible teaches post tribulation/pre wrath ingathering.....4 things kill tribulation saints...we can do something about 3 of them, the 4th one is up to God.....in other words, most know I have prepped for the tribulation period....through prayer amd seeking the will of God he has provided in way too many ways for it to be coincedental.......and the place I have is for God's people.who see it coming and are wise enough to see the evil coming and prepare for it! God does not upbraid<---this point is obvious when considering what I have just said!!
Yet the bible teach he’s the immanent return of Christ. In fact, they thought christ would return in their day.

As I have said, Post trib is the LEAST scripturally backed end times theory I call it theory because although I am lean pre- I believe we will not knbow ubntil it happens.

Am i wrong for thinking this...i see packahing at the grocery stores gettinh smaller but item more expensive etc..the end times and signs all around us..its gonna get harder..not better...so im thinking "survival mode" ..how to save the most money..making griceries stretch even MORE tham i already do..alternative utility "options"

Ive had to strictly budget for the last 30 yrs so dont know how much more i can do since im not a frivolous spender..and thinking bout making a flower pot garden in spring simce i rent and theres no garden spot..i already sew..etc..HOWEVER..i dont want to compromise my tithe..the more i give ive asked God to show me other areas that i can give..so i give to others but "forget" my own bills..lol..no not really..the women at work tease me because they see how ive had times of financial struggle but yet i give to others..i tell them theres always others more hard up than me..:) Am i wrong?
Although I disagree we need to tithe. I think we are called. Not only in this age, but more in the tribulation age, To give, To be selfless, and to putthe needs of others above our own needs.. The world needs us, they need us more and more the close the end comes..
