Yes baptism is a verb, but salvation is product of faith.

Faith produce work. Faith is something in your mind. When you have faith in Jesus you invite Jesus into your heart. Invite is also a verb. But I do not think faith is a verb(I may wrong)

So faith produce or couse you TO invite ( verb)Jesus. When jesus in your heart It Will make you willing to be baptized, love other, and love other Will make you help other.

Is help other save you? No, you save by faith, but help other is product of faith in Jesus.

Actually after the act of repentance we must be baptized to complete the total sin removal process and become..."born again".
Using the word ...saved...here is a misnomer and unfair to G-d's plan of judgement.

No I do not see it that way because the Bible does not say it that way JOhn 3:16 Jesus speaking and rom 10"9-10 "Belief" and "Confession" baptized it what one does after they are saved , Born again or regenerated.

The Holy Spirt as we know is the one who draws us to the Lord. John 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."

No comes into the Father. The Holy Spirit help create a godly sorrow for one to see their need of Christ. The power of the Gospel Message is OF GOD for Salvation as Roman 1:16 states:

Roman 10:9-10 also speak of this.

Salvation happens before one is baptized because the belief and faith is what should be leading one for salvation, then to get Baptized.

We must keep our terms correct...less we miss lead someone;

we are.... saved ....when G-d reviews our righteous life after death and grants us eternal salvation.
When we repent and are baptized here on this earth in this physical life we are....born again.

1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

The bible says we can know for sure we are saved, having eternal life/ born again the moment we repent and believe on Him.

Looks like you have a very incorrect understanding about salvation. You should go back to the basics.

I'm always concerned when you handle the scriptures and biblical doctrines in a casual fashion. We need to be precise when we articulate bible doctrines and make application from the scriptures.

I would like to share a different view:
Is baptism a work? Of course, but it is a work of faith (1 Thess. 1: 3) not righteousness in that faith is required before we are baptized (Acts 8: 36-38)
Is it required for salvation? Of course, we must be born of both water and the Spirit to enter the Kingdom. (John 3: 5)
Baptism in water is a commandment of our lord, baptism in the Holy Spirit is a promise to those who obey His commandment. (Acts 2: 38, 39) How many baptisms lead directly to our salvation? There is one baptism but two elements Just as there is one spiritual birth (John 3: 5) but two elements, water and the Spirit. (Eph. 4: 5)
Why do we need both elements? They contribute different blessings: water is about death and dying with our lord, becoming a disciple and a child of God, repentance and being freed from sin; the baptism in the Spirit is about life and renewal, receiving a new heart and spirit, it is God's seal that we are children of God, it is His pledge that he will resurrect our mortal bodies; it is about the fruit of the Spirit.
Does baptism wash away sin? Yes, when we obey the commandments to repent and be baptized, we are sprinkled with the blood of Jesus. (1 Peter 1: 1, 2) As our bodies are washed with pure water our heart are sprinkled with the blood of Christ. (Heb. 10; 22; 9: 14)
Does baptism save us? Yes, we are saved by the washing of regeneration (Titus 3: 5); "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16: 16); "baptism now saves you" (1 Peter 3: 21)
Abraham was justified by works of faith, not faith alone. (james 2: 22-24)
We are saved by grace through faith which works in love with works of faith to perfect our faith. (Eph. 2: 8, 9; Gal. 5: 6; James 2: 20-24)
