I don't expect anyone to agree with me either. And you have the right to voice your opinion. All I see is a world full of people who are treated like garbage because of other people's selfishness. And apparently, given all the scandals popping up recently, the church is no different.

Why have laws in place against theft if people are going to steal anyway? Why have any laws of any kind? Why should we have the 10 commandments when that was from the Old Testament and no longer applies to us (or does it?)?

Even if sin is inevitable, I have seen time and again what happens when people don't want rule and law. In late 18 century France, the common people wanted no government of any kind anymore, and what did that result in? An absolute bloodbath full of bloodthirsty people with nothing to hold them back.

The Wild West was called that for a reason. Cowboys were rough, corruption was common, not to mention Natives would kill you if you stepped on their land. Tell me, is that a place you would like to live?

Anarchy after the abdication of the tsar in WWI led to the rise of the power-hungry mass murderer Stalin. It's interesting that people tend to focus more on Hitler since his mass murder was mostly racism. But Stalin killed as many people if not more. He ruled with an iron fist. And that was because he took advantage of the chaotic state of Russia.

Without law and order, we have unbridled anarchy and chaos and open the doors for dictators. Is that what you want?
What do you think judgment day is for, This is not over yet, we all will get what we deserve, by Christ, He is our judge, Good for good, Bad for bad,
It is sad and regretful for me to say, In my life, I have used the sex drive for purposes other than what it was intended, But I am still glad it is here and not done away with, and i will thank him for that on judgment day,

oh if we didn't have God's laws nobody would have done anything wrong. If no law saying don't do then it's not wrong to do. So why have laws, so he can judge us on judgement day.
One of the things we will have to answer for is why we put evil people that does those kinds of thing in a place of power, Espesially in church When his word very clearly tells us how to avoid that, and then blame God for letting it happen.
When it's your turn in front of him how will your nanswer him.
We all get a turn, even me.
I think I am going to tell him I was a stupid idiot that didn't know any better and I probably deserve what ever he gives me.

Stalin killed between 20-60 million people.

I feel like I'm in a lose-lose situation. If I don't marry, then my drive really serves no purpose. But even if I do, I know I'm going to have to do a lot of mental clearing out to even have a chance of enjoying it.
let's have a discussion,

I thought of some overlooked logical possibilities that might help change your mind, in around 3 or 4 cases, let's explain them

case 1 - your body will adjust to abstinence till the sex drive bothers you less and less

case 2 - the experience of "doing it" is so enjoyable, it will override your life long habit of saying "no"

case 3 - even if you are used to saying "no", you are lucky enough to find a partner who will cooperate and work with you aat your own comforable pace. (neither too fast, nor too slow for you)

case 4 - you've heard of "yes, no, and wait"

by process of elimination, that leaves us with "wait", but wait is technically no, so I have technically only thought of 3 cases so far

out of these possible cases, which case do you think is most possible for you

if not just for you alone, what do you think is the most plausible for the majority? (if any at all)

just like what "deal or no deal" would say, "open the case"?

Case 1: The human body does not adjust well to abstinence. I'm living proof. I'm a 25-year-old virgin. I've never even been kissed. And yet I daily have sexual fantasies (about no one in particular). Why? 'Cause that's the age when the sex drive is at its highest. And since I'm not guaranteed marriage, I'm likely going to have to deal with this high sex drive for years.

Case 2: Habits of all kinds don't just go away overnight. It's not possible. Ask a lot of Christian women who waited and they'll tell you it took them quite awhile to get used to the idea of enjoying sex, after years of trying to suppress their urges in the name of their faith.

Case 3: If only such men weren't so rare. Besides, I've never been asked out and no guy has ever been interested in me in that way. Never. Not once. Most guys won't want to date a 25-year-old who's never dated before and has absolutely no romantic experience to speak of. Basically, in both society and the church, you can't get to 25 with no romantic connections to speak of, without being marked out as a freak. Besides, a lot of Christian guys won't look twice at you if you don't have a Mother Teresa personality in a supermodel's body.

Case 4: Yes, I've heard of it. But there is no "wait." Why? Marriage is never guaranteed. If it were, waiting would be a lot easier. I know this because I went through 5 years of dental reconstruction surgeries. The one thing that kept me going was knowing I would have a mouth full of teeth in the end. I don't know if I'm going to marry or remain single.

One more thing, I'm sick of this idea of finding "satisfaction" with God when, in both society and the church, romance and marriage is held up as the pinnacle of human existence. We're taught this (if indirectly) literally all our lives. And now we're just supposed to settle with God if we remain single as a consolation prize? Someone who's not human and can't interact with us the same way other humans can? No wonder a lot of singles feel like second class citizens. As for someone like me, having never been asked out or dated, it makes me feel invisible and unwanted and not even human.

in short, you are pretty much at a point where you would consider praying that God can somehow take your DNA (ie: your hair) and create such a man from the ground for you, if God is willing to do that for you, just like how Eve came from Adam's ribs

it's a biblical miracle that depends on God's will, but if you are aware of this possibility, you will consider it

if I'm right about how you are feeling about this

Is that sarcasm I'm detecting?

I'm simply saying, if you want Christians to truly be satisfied with God, quit idolizing marriage and the nuclear family. Paul himself wouldn't be able to get a position simply because he wasn't married.

a strategy to find relief from the pressures of having a high sex drive
Just because I'm a Christian and love God doesn't mean I love everything he does. I love my parents but I don't love everything they do. If I never marry, then having a sex drive is completely pointless. No one is going to convince me otherwise.

I just hope he knew that in making us this way and then setting extremely high standards, he knew we would fail most of the time.

But what does my opinion matter? I'm just another face in a sea of mortals.

I don't make mean jokes.. unless someone makes one about me first, but I have nothing against you. I even tried to help you some time ago in here.
And since your posts tended to come after some that were sarcastic, I probably made some false assumptions. Thank you though.
