When I post a photo in life bits, no problem.

When I try to post a photo on the forums I get a message saying file size too large.

I have an iPhone.
I’ve changed the camera setting to high efficiency see screen shot, but I still get a message saying file size is too big. Any ideas?

Hello Miri. Have you tried going through an image host such as https://postimages.org/ which could resize your image to 640 pixels wide?

I’ve not used re-imager before.
If I use my PC I can change them myself but it’s nice to be able to post straight from my phone.

I was wondering if anyone else knew a way around this with the iPhone as there doesn’t seem to be a camera setting that I can see, to reduce the image size?

That would be the link Magenta provided.

Thanks guys, I had a browse around the Internet.
It seems as camera are getting better, with each new release the
image file size is increasing.

Options seem to be to email yourself the image but before doing so,
to use the email settings to reduce the file size. But not actually send it.

Or to use an app to resize the image.

Think I will use the email route for now.
