That isn't so tough:

CREATION TIMELINE

Day 1 – Separated light from dark.

Day 2 – Separated the water from the sky (heavens).

Day 3 – Separated the land from the oceans/sea; created the plants.

Day 4 – Created the sun and the moon; stabilized earth’s rotation for night and day.

Day 5 – Created the fowls of heaven and the fish/others in the sea.

Day 6 - Created the land animals and man.

Day 7 – Rested; declared the seventh day holy.

This makes me want to ask... it's so right in my face....

What day is the Sabbath? According to the Bible not "Christians") What day is the 7th day? In a way trick question...

I think this question was fully vetted in the Sabbath thread of the BDF. Some Christians keep the seventh day Sabbath, myself included. We don't do anything to get saved we do it because we think it pleases our Lord. We are all saved by grace as a gift from God.

That said, some Christians argue for a Sunday resurrection to honor the Lord. I do not think the resurrection was on a Sunday, as we discussed here earlier. Nevertheless, there was not a day lost in case you want to argue for that. I can prove that Friday sunset to Saturday sunset is God's Sabbath.

You got the trick … sundown Friday to sundown Saturday! The Biblical calendar is lunar.... How that would have been a good question... What is the Biblical calendar...lol...

Remember, Gentile believers are not obligated to keep the Shabbat. Should they at least recognize that it has not been changed, yes that would be great and give a greater testimony to G-d, His word and that Yeshua just put G-d’s word on the back burner like it is not important.

The bigger question now, is a) for Gentiles, what does it mean to keep the Shabbat? b) For Jews (all biblical) what does it mean to keep the Shabbat? (For many times in Torah and the Tanakh G-d not only gives direct laws, but there are many wuss on HOW it should be kept).

According to the Bible, how should we enter the Lord's gates and courts?

I do not agree with your first paragraph. When God established the Sabbath and sanctified it, was at creation. I believe the Sabbath was established and ordered with Adam even though scripture does not say it. Why would there not be verbal instructions to pass on? Many other things were established way before the law and written history.

Your second paragraph about the proper way to observe Shabbat: you could write a whole book about that. Basically keeping the Sabbath is to not seek your own pleasure, but to love God and others as yourself and take time to show it.

I memorized that Psalms 100 at 12 years of age: With praise! View attachment 189368
Hi Deade,

You got half of it.........................We enter His courts with praise, but how do we enter His gates? :giggle:

Psalm 100:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 Enter into his gates with ? , and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Will there be a sea in the New Earth?
No, scripture says there were no more seas.
Gotcha on this one, Deade! :giggle:

Revelation 21:1 King James Version (KJV)
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
