What do you think you are getting saved from? Cliches do little to help one understand Christian theology. First, one needs to understand why you were created. Then the expectation is a little more clear. We were designed to serve the Lord and procreate, making a population of servants to the King. Since we have decided as a whole to abandon post, at the end of the age, our bodies will be destroyed and our spirit will have no way to “connect”. All pleasure and senses, are possible only because of the machine we inhabit. Since blood sacrifice is essential for forgiveness of sins, God prepared the offering. His own Sin was given. Like any gift, in order to possess it, you must first accept or receive it. We give this present life, and body to God, so after the world is destroyed and recreated, we get a new, everlasting one.

We know we are saved because we CHOOSE to believe it. When one prays it shouldn’t feel like talking into a phone that’s turned off. There is connectivity. You feel like part of a larger whole.

We don’t go to heaven. We go somewhere else until we are recreated.

How does someone get Saved?
Romans 10:

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

1 John 5:

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

How do you know you will go to heaven?
How can I know for sure that I will go to heaven when I die?

How does someone get Saved?

How do you know you are Saved?

How do you know you will go to heaven?

The rich young ruler asked the same question you have:

17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”
18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ”
20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”
21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”
22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Notice how Jesus first attempts to show him who He is, which is God in the flesh.
"You're calling me good, and you KNOW only One is good, and that One is God. So if I'm good, then i MUST be God. I'm not saying you are wrong, but recognize WHO I AM"

He then shreds the idea that this guy kept all the Law, by showing him that his heart cares more for riches than his neighbor, or his God.

Then how is the righteous requirement of the Law met? Certainly not by an attempt to keep it!

This is how:
Matthew 5
Christ Fulfills the Law
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

So how do we apply this cure for the ALWAYS eternally fatal disease of sin?

Romans 10:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So God came in the flesh, in the form of His Son, Jesus. Died to pay OUR sin debt, and was raised to life.

That is how one is saved. Confession and belief.

How does someone get saved? I prayed until it came to me. How do you know you saved? It is a feeling I have in my soul. How do you know you will go to heaven? by being the best person that I can be> Jesus died on the cross for me. This is the least I can do for Him...

At the right hand of the Father I suppose.
Do you suppose? Or, do you know?

(2 Cor. 5:8) "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

If the Lord is at the right hand of God, and when we die we are with Him, then where do you think we are?

I don’t know to what group you are assigning me, but if you know something I don’t, enlighten me.
To your original question: Matthew 22:29-33 says

29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” 33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.

This is confirmation that believers do to go to heaven...there's no such thing as the so-called "recreation"

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Revelation 21:1)

Believe what you want. Your reference has no proof to your claim.

So what’s the point of the judgement at the coming of Christ? If we are already with Him and we are the sheep then why separate the goats, later? Like I said before, believe what you want. If you think God gave us a book to argue about then enjoy your controversy. If it makes you happy to think when you die, a chariot will collect you and bring you to Heaven, wherever or whatever that is, then think it. If that’s what you choose to believe, nobody will change your mind. When you have seen enough of these thread debates, you know how they end. Be blessed Quantrill. Whether we are automatically joined with the Lord or raised at a later time, I’m just happy that my name is written in the Book of Life. Hope to see you there.
