That definition seems to be too simplistic. Jesus' teachings on the law and Jesus' teachings on magnifying the law, like if you think lustfully you have committed adultery or if you hate you have committed murder. Heb_13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Jesus also taught that many "traditions" nullify the Word of God, that is the Torah/Instructions/Laws, statues, commandments, ordinances, etc. It may very well be that God/Jesus laws are very good and man's laws are suspect of making the good void.

Psa_19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
lost of confusion in that statement

that is not an accusation . he freely admit its.

how about this- when I say something about someone else, go through their posts , and see are my words valid.
then come back an ask me something.
I understand your bitter hatred. Religious man has hated God's truth since Cain murdered his "Christian" brother Abel.

What Law? The Laws Abraham was blessed for obeying? Or is He speaking to the "added" law given to the Levites to cleanses men of sins until He, (the seed) should come?

You could always adopt a new tactic. You could stop the name calling and show the commonest of courtesies and just answer the question.

In this case You can’t quote A few verses’ and get the entire intent
Actually he can.

He said the PURPOSE OF THE LAW.

Unless that was not the purpose of the law and Paul lied. You can take his words as gospel truth.

So either Paul lied, galations can be ignored. Or paul said the truth. And we have to take what he said as fact.

The premise of the letter is the law can not save anyone, and anyone who tries to add works of the law to grace to gain salvation or maintain salvation are as paul calls them “foolish”

Which is WHY paul gave us the purpose of the law.

So we have to take paul at his word. Either what he said is truth, or it is a lie.. and we can ignore galations. You need to chose.

The "moral" aspect of the law is the most sneaky way judaizers try to get Christians back under the law.
God is the law. He sent Jesus Christ so that we would better understand the laws and values of heaven.
The 10 commandments are the law.
But somewhere; the scribes and pharisees Jesus warned us about - changed the law and corrupted God's word into their own bigotry and lack of grace.
Jesus Christ is the answer to everything. Focus on what he focused upon. But so many christian men & women seem still to be focusing on the things the pharisees and scribes sought to make important.
There's nothing complicated about God's law. It's simple but add the cabals and secret clubs of men and women and you end up with distortion. Corruption. Condemnation and deception.
Please God forgive me if I am wrong.
Basic carnal mis-understanding of scripture and Christianity.

The 10 commandments are NOT Gods Law. They are commanding men to be perfect Like God in Heaven is Perfect. They are for people who reject Grace and Gods Help and Provision.

Gods Law is Love, Joy, Peace, Faith, Goodness....

Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

I did,

1. They were trying to add c ircumcision to grace
2. They were called foolish to think they had to be sved in the spirit (by grace) but perfect tht salvation in the flesh (works of the law)
3. paul said specificially no one is justified by the law. And anyone who tries, are under a curse. Because the curse of the law for anyone who does not obey every word perfectly (and he quoted moses) is
4. He then explains how christ because a curse for us, that we might be justified by faith, where the law could NEVER justify us

5. He then explains the purpose of the law. And how it was a tuttor to lead us to christ, but after christ we are no longer under a tutor (the law)

But hey, If you can start at chapter 2 and show me a different context. To show Paul did not mean what he said, feel free.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

How do you re-read this to make it mean Christians are still obligated to work at the law?

For a religious man such as yoruself striving to earn salvation. You just condemned yourself as a hater of Gods truth.

When will you wake up and stop condeming people for what you are yourself?

I believe the law ended with John the Baptist. He preached repent and turn to God to the Jews. Prepared the way for Jesus to come, or prepared the hearts of those who repented to receive Him.

Now is the age of Holy Spirit.

The OT and NT has many "laws" (some eternal and some situational) but only one law that saves God's people. That law is God had to become flesh (Immanuel -God with us), live a sinless life, die or martyr himself at the appointed prophesied time, and resurrect in 3 days in order to take the adulterous wife God divorced and marry her again and call her the bride and betrothed to all who are willing to accept that Jesus the bridegroom is the root of our faith and obedience/faithfulness is the fruit of our faith. Without acceptance of Jesus and desiring Him only to be our LORD we are not eternally saved, but still lost. We too must die to our fleshly desires daily. When we are given our new bodies we are then " reborn". At this time we are like in our mother's womb, growing, being nourished, not yet born until that appointed time.

I have answered this question many times. the language does not say Abraham kept the Torah, the word used is torot, a derivative of Torah, but not Torah.

so, the language does not say what you say.

and, since you do not believe Jesus was fully God and fully man, your beliefs are worthless.
